Medicare advantage plan Humana Gold
SuperFab replied to SuperFab's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Has to be at a Center Of Excellence to be approved and I'm really, really comfortable with this surgeon. I just don't like how they are spacing my nutrition appointments out 30 days each. I'd prefer to have the surgery asap and especially before the new year. -
Medicare advantage plan Humana Gold
SuperFab posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Does anyone else have this plan? I was approved right away. Could've already had the surgery but it's my bariatric center that is making me go thru three months of their nutrition counseling, and a support group. I guess I'm just eager and was wondering if anyone with my type of insurance had the surgery. -

I actually teared up. That is so sweet and such a wonderful NSV. -
I hope so. If your nauseous you won't even want to eat. Just get some rest and hang in there.

My story is actually boring...

Sorry, your best bet is to call your insurance company. Mine is Medicare Humana Gold. I went straight to my bariatric center and they did everything for me, though. -

Thanks, I was pretty thrilled about it. Weird how fate intervenes and changes everything. -

SuperFab replied to endless80's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my gall bladder removed in '08 and 2 of my little incision scars STILL itch like the devil. -
Aww, thank you

Wow, Kindle. That last sentence of assumption was so very disrespectful, whether you say you didn't mean it be or not.

Hey guys, I haven't had my sleeve yet, but my best friend has. She always chewed on a straw for the first bit. One day I asked her why, she said "I miss chewing and this is just as crunchy". Just an option.

Yeah, my boobs are HUGE already, and not that perky. I know once I have surgery and lose weight they are just gonna look like a rock in a sock in the end. -
Divorce/ break up post sleeve?
SuperFab replied to bethxxx's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You say he loves you and would do anything for you. What exactly does he do? No help financially. No help emotionally. I'm still trying to figure out what he does for you that is worth hanging onto other than the fact that you have a history together. -
I didn't even know crab meat came in a can.Lol
-
Can't get any worse for me. I've had it for years. It does require me to already take vitamins and get b12 shots due to slight malabsorption. So when I do get sleeved, maybe I'll be one of those that only go every couple of days.Lol

Lol will do!

I've had this since my gall bladder removal in 08.

Dehydration and potassium deficiencies can definitely do that
