Why do I have to wait so long?
SuperFab replied to patsybrown's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
My sister thought she was at goal and had her TT... yeah, now she's wishing she'd have waited. She needs another one. I'll definitely be waiting after seeing how she lost more weight and needs another one. There is no way I'm going through that type of recovery twice. -
You need to go to your doctor's office today. I wouldn't even call for an appointment. I'd show up and they'd get me back there to see the Dr because they are not going to want potential patients to see a prior patient suffering. Bad for business. Go today and see what's going on. Keep us posted, hun

Does anyone need a medic alert bracelet so if they are ever rendered unconscious no blind ng tubes are rammed down their throat?
-
Mmm. My friend brings me pickled okra. It's so good. I wonder if I'll still like it afterward.
-
Pickle juice. Frozen into popsicles. Don't be a weirdo... well, too much of one :-p
-
Mmm you can freeze it into pickle pops like popsicles when u want something like that.

You know which part!

That sounded bad and I don't know how to delete it

I liked the word "rammed" mister! Anyway you know what I mean. I'm not gonna get one. Unless it's all glittery and pretty. Then I am.

An ng tube is a nasogastric tube. It passes the throat and goes into the stomach.

The hair pulling is almost as fun as the sex I'll just have to tone it down.

Since reading about hair loss this has sort of freaked me out. Not that I'll be having much sex, but one never knows. Just sayin

Hi, my name is April and I'm an Oklahoma girl I was actually a member on here previously (strangelynormal-yes, that's me with the hot pink hair) but once I tried to sign back in I couldn't because I no longer had access to the previous email. It was just a hassle so I said screw it and created this account. I was almost a self-pay in Mexico, but lo and behold, I finally had insurance that covers the sleeve... so I didn't go that route. I have a few more appointments and then I'll be sleeved in either Dec or Jan. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I have learned a lot from this forum and appreciate all of the help it offers. Laters

My story is actually boring...

Thanks! -
There is a special latest bag of stevia (sweetener in truvia) I've cooked with. Not the little packets, but the bag that measures out like sugar. Plus it could be that your tastes have changed on certain sweet tasting foods

I am having second thoughts...Nervous!

Stop thinking too much. Don't let your mind race. When I get panicky like you I stop, lie down n literally sing all the lyrics to a song I know. (What I Got, by Sublime - no judgin me!) It slows down my overthinking. Sometimes I have to sing it more than once until I get chilled out. Once your mind is no longer your enemy, you'll be able to rationalize better. Hang in there hun, you're not alone.

You look amazing!!

I'm not proud of this....but....

Have you tried truvia? It's stevia, a natural sweetener. It's the only artificial sweetener that doesn't give me a headache. -
I live in Durant, but going to have my surgery in Norman thru Journey Clinic and Dr Lana Nelson. Looks like it'll be around December for me.
