  1. I literally felt like I was skewered with a sword all the way through. All I could do was cry
  2. Wow, normally if anything, they extend u another month. Just try not to stress and have a positive attitude. U can do this.
  3. Heck, I'm bipolar and they approved me. She just made sure I've been stable and on my meds for at least a year and that I had a support person when/if needed. Asked for a letter from my regular psych stating diagnosis, if I'm stable and if we planned on continuing our sessions. It was more of a rap session and us discussing my expectations more than anything.
  4. I was told skim milk, almond milk or water.
  5. Thank you, I will. I've been dealing with this so long. It has almost become a joke between my friends and I.
  6. I just thought "I can't wait til my butt fits on the toilet seat".... Made me laugh so hard!!!
  7. I wondered about the gall bladder thing. I had mine removed in '08 and have had horrible dumping syndrome since. I was told it could clear up, but it looks like it could stay the same as well.
  8. Well, I've jumped through every hoop and here I am, waiting on that final approval. Once it is approved I have my appointment to see my surgeon again and pick my date. Kinda freaked out, but super excited.
  9. Thank you, Merry Christmas to you too!!
  10. Thank you!! Merry Christmas to you as well!!
  11. Lots of luck!!! This is a great way to kick off 2014 and get the new you:) April
  12. Keep in mind some hospitals won't allow Chapstick Bc it has glycerine in it. Be sure and bring blistex brand. No glycerine
  13. I've had terrible dumping syndrome ever since my gall bladder removal in 08. I've wondered these same things. I don't care what I eat, I get the cramps and diarrhea. Sometimes before I'm even finished eating. I've wondered the same thing. How will I survive...

    Christmas Pics

    You look gorgeous!!!!
  15. I tried to edit out the screenshot of your statement that I posted but it won't remove the pic. It'll only let me edit the wording. Otherwise I'd do it myself
  16. I believe you and accept your apology. I've emailed Alex to remove the mean comments from both of us permanently. I do not know how else to have them removed.
  17. Thank you. It's just been a crazy day and a shock to see that.
  18. Thanks Lindsay. After reading that my entire morning was in tears.
  19. I've asked for the mean remarks to be deleted.
  20. Ok well I'll see how to get the derogatory posts removed
  21. Thank you, the ignorance of some people is astounding. I truly hope that poster is never in any type of accident that puts him or her in a wheel chair, using a walker or in need of disability the they actually EARNED BY WORKING AND PAYING THEIR TAXES like happened to me. It actually hurts to be judged when nobody knows your story. Merry Christmas to you as well. April
  22. Maybe you should think before you make a smart ass remark like that. These types of surgeries aren't for vanity reasons. They are medically necessary. I was in an accident on ice and subsequently acquired severe spinal stenosis when my hip was injured. Couldn't walk for over a year unassisted. At that time I wasn't overweight and was very physically active. Having to be sedentary caused me to gain over 140 pounds. In 2 years. Then I developed HBP and severe sleep apnea Bc of that weight gain. This surgery could actually help me to lose enough weight that it may take the pressure off my spine and allow me the opportunity to get off disability. You can kiss my fat ass
  23. That was an asshole thing to say

Sex Sent Me To The ER

    Spanking? Who said spanking?!? Yum
  25. I've had c-sections, gallbladder out and tubes tied. Absolutely no issues with those. I'm hoping this isn't any worse. I know many people have this surgery as an out-patient procedure and many are hospitalized for several days. My dr is usually a one-night stay barring any complications. I already know that I get very nauseated due to anesthesia and I'm allergic to the adhesives on steri-strips and most bandages/tapes. I'm just hoping like heck this goes as smoothly as my sister's did. It was easy as pie.
