I have Medicare and I just went to a bariatric center of excellence. They did everything for me. Scheduled all of my appointments with nutritionist, psych, physical therapist, etc and all I had to do was be there for them so I'm not sure. They did all of it. My surgery is feb 18 April

I think I'm gonna regret it on my head if I don't. Lol

I start my pre-op diet the 4th but my surgery isn't until the 18th. Try and focus on all of the things you're gonna be able to do and accomplish. How healthy you're gonna be. Let the excitement in. April

It makes me feel like I'm smothering. I sleep worse with it than without. It's set at 14 so I have to use a full face mask. I rip that thing off after about an hour or I wake up so claustrophobic I'm gasping for air. That's why.

There's a men's only forum and a ladies only forum. The powder room is for ladies. But I think men go there to read what we're writing more than it being here. Lol

Wow, I was just talking to Sarahjane about vitamins. Bariatric Fusion it is then. Awesome.

I just wanted it pre op. That's When I'll be having the shakes. But it was on here once that they only send the shakes once and it's all about their vitamins after that.

Reading this made me just wanna reach out and give you a hug. I know you're suffering and you have such a temperamental sleeve. I'm so sorry. Hang in there the best you can. Maybe some of the vets will have suggestions for you to eat or drink.

I'm just gonna use duct tape. It fixes everything, right?

Have your doctor change PPIs. I have GERD and had to try a few til I was put on protonix twice daily. April

My boyfriend flat out said "you're gonna lose weight and leave me for a skinny guy". Umm... He said it jokingly but it was what he was thinking. I'm like, get some self esteem babe!

I am going through a bariatric Center of Excellence and , while they offer Bariatric Advantage weightloss products, they do not require you to purchase them. As a matter of fact, my nutritionist, that works strictly for them, suggested all kinds of products and lots of different companies like Chike, Premier, etc. I'd never go to a clinic that required that. A lot of that stuff tastes like guano. April

Please listen to your red flags. You're harboring a lot of resentment and that is definitely normal. He hurt you. It sounds like he hurt you a lot. Resentment can ruin anything you may have if you start another relationship with him now. While I know the thought of him supporting you sounds good and comforting, you'd probably be better off in the long run getting that support elsewhere. Work on being you. Celebrate the new you and the strength it took for you to evolve into a healthier you. Then after you have come to terms with your feelings you'll know in your heart what's best for you.

Lots of people have food funerals before their pre-op. Just remember, the more you gain the more you have to lose.

Because all there is to do is laugh about it and go on. I'm pretty sure once a guy gets to that point he's not worrying you're droopy. Lol "Duck lips" reminds me of those girls that always do the duck face pics on Facebook. Now every time I see one I'm gonna think of a hooha.
