    Goodbye lasagna

That stinks. You hear so much about people not wanting anything at all and then the flip side where they crave and are hungry. It's a crap shoot.

    My 600 lb Life: Whoa

I have a thread called "making me cry" on here about my 17yo daughter watching the Melissa episode. I hadn't really shared my wls much with my daughter but she went on her own and watched YouTube videos and read up on it. Anyway, she told me about the Melissa episode. That her family saw her walk unassisted for the first time and it made them cry. And her. She then told me she was so proud of my wls decision and not to worry about what other ppl say or think. She was like "if Melissa can do this so can you. You got this". It really opened my eyes about not only sharing more with her, but that she saw something in this lady that reminded her of me. I can't wait to watch it. April

    new joint pain

What I've read is that when you're heavier you moved and walked differently. Different areas of pressure on your joints. After weight loss your gait is different, you're changing the ways your joints move. So in a way, yes, you're discombobulated. Lol. You'll find your new normal and work everything out and the pain should go away.

    Goodbye lasagna

Unfortunately I won't be able to eat almost anything. I'm sorry but these foods put me where I am today. I am saying goodbye. I won't be "eating in moderation". I can't. I'm a carb addict. I can't "just have a little" or I'll eat and then go find a shit ton of slider foods that are high carb. So yeah. Goodbye lasagna. If your views are different, yay you. I wish you lots of success in your journey. Unfortunately, to have just a little would be the start of a really bad place for me.
  18. Hey guys I gotta admit, I'm now less than a month away and I can hardly even sleep. I have so much going through my head at any given moment when I'm finally able to lie down. Throughout the day it isn't so bad because I'm able to keep myself fairly busy, but at night it's bad. I keep checking the sight for new information hoping I'm absorbing what I need to know. It's more difficult with Laura-ven and Gamergirl not on lately because they are great mentors and I've learned so much thanks to them. I almost feel like I'm obsessed with this forum. Does anyone else feel that way? Trying to keep up with all of the info to be as prepared as can be? April

    Goodbye lasagna

Yeah. I know it's in my head but I'm gonna have my lasagna the day before my pre-op. What's odd is I have cut out so much sugars and sodas and fast foods and fried foods and I don't miss em.
