Okay, I have a serious sinus infection (which I am prone to). My ENT gave me 2 different antibiotics to take twice daily for 10 days. My concern is now that my belly is so much smaller is 2 antibiotics going to be too much? I did not think to tell him about my VSG so I don't know if it matters or not. I have only been taking 1 twice daily because i'm scared it will totally screw up my belly. Any advice?

I take Singulair and it helps...I know I have allergies as well. He has done testing, I don't have deviated septum. I have had my adenoids out thinking that would help, it's been non-stop forever! As for the meds, yes i am supposed to take with food which is quite difficult as I don't eat and drink anymore!! I have been taking the morning dose with the Protein hot chocolate.

An English Sleever's Journey

Sounds like you are better off without him, Natalie:) Canada is beautiful! I would love to go back for a visit someday!! And I do believe by 6 months out you will have more energy so it would be perfect to travel!!! -
Hello, and welcome:)

I think that since you already know you've made bad choices and obviously don't want to, you will get back on track. We all have moments where have done the same choice-wise. I figure the best thing to do is just chalk it up to a weak moment and make the next choice a good one. You cannot undo it, but you can choose the right foods next time. Personally, I think all things in moderation is a good motto to live by. I'm not that far out, but I don't plan to beat myself up in guilt if I eat something that isn't in the "recommended" foods. For me that would lead to me getting so discouraged I would stop trying...I can't do that:)

Oh how I have enjoyed reading this!! (Except for poor Natalie's heartbreak). I am glad you are doing well post-op Natalie:) and Madam - here's to hoping your reflux is on it's way out! I feel so terrible for you:( i have a friend who put wood blocks under the head of their bed because of reflux...it may help you to try that. I can't remember the mans name who has been posting (sorry), but I hope pray you are doing well. -
OHHHH I wish!!! I can't wait!
-
I haven't tried it yet...BUT, I do get kinda tired of not being able to eat more than 2-3 oz of anything!!! Maybe occasionally I would eat it...not now, but later:)
