    I did the same thing!! NEVER had issues with them before, didnt know if that was what it was - went to dr and it definitely was...got Diflucan...it works.

  9. Love this!! Totally sweet Mr. McButterpants! My hubby is shy and quiet - totally opposite of me. We met through mutual friends and one of our friends went out with us the first 3 times and basically he (the friend) and I carried the conversations...after that I told the friend if he (my hubby) didn't wanna talk to me, I wouldn't go with them anymore - that changed it all!! Hubby decided to up his game and he hasn't looked back since We've been married over 17 years now and I love him more now than I did then. He's my best friend, supporter, and loves me like no one else, warts and all. He never thought I needed WLS but has been so incredibly loving, supportive, and amazing through it all. He's even starting walking daily to get me to walk (I abhor walking as exercise).

    January fitness challenge

    Wellllll, I shall attempt this again...sigh*** did NOT make my goal last month - although I must admit I had a terrible cold/sinus infection for about 2 weeks...I will blame that ????. Definitely get my MMA twice a week again. 30 miles walk/ride - I'm pretty sure I do this, don't always use a pedometer but plan to be more diligent this month.

    December Fitness Challenge

    I'm so far off my exercise...I know how you feel GG. For some reason it's harder to start over than to start the first time. I miss the feeling it gives me when I am exercising, but apparently not enough...urgh
  13. Sigh*** this is definitely something I gotta work on...my closest friends all tell me how good I look, but all I see is the bad things still. Soooo, yes, I will work on this as well
  14. I cannot imagine that, RJ...I'm so sorry!! My hubby wouldn't do that - he will ask me, but he wouldn't just take it...OMG it would infuriate me!!!
  15. Okay, although I have definitely broken some of these a time or two...or twenty These are some of my new habits I have incorporated in my life:) - MOVE more!! I absolutely LOVE the energy I have now and even if I cannot do aerobics, MMA, or something of that sort, I move:) - I have a Protein drink (usually hot cocoa) EVERY morning. It makes me feel sooo much better to start my day with at least 12-15 grams of protein - I relentlessly read the protein count on every good label before I purchase anything. - I have tried my darndest to eat S L O W! URGH I do not always accomplish this and I pay for it:( I'm a work in progress on this one. Good thing is that I take notice and make my children slow down as well - and they watch me to make sure I eat slow so I don't hurt - I have stopped rewarding myself OR my family with food and have moved to either a new candle, book, movie, puzzle, bath goodies, etc... I never realized how often I used food as a reward!! - I cook a lot more than I did before - and I love to cook, just didn't always have time or make time ...now I make myself cook more often so we don't eat fast food as much. I love it:) Thanks GG for this thread! Makes me wanna come up with more good habits:)

    December Fitness Challenge

    I have a two week break...but other than that...I did it twice a week. In January we are thinking about starting it 3x a week. We do kicking/boxing moves, these sit up things where you punch to the left and right, a lot of moving for the whole time...I really enjoy it and am missing it right now
  19. Depends, sometimes I will eat off of hubby and kiddos plates, sometimes I order - just depends on what everyone wants to eat. I do have a card from the hospital to order kids meals, but I don't use it b/c it's usually chicken tenders, pizza, mac n cheese, or something along those lines. As for the wait staff, ummm I could care less what they think.

  22. I'm right there with you on this one...my tongue can be BAD for the 'offender' it's best I don't say anything to them for a while...cleaning...I do that too when I'm angry...apparently I'm not angry enough ;-P

    Well that's just heartbreaking. You NEED some support! I'm with crowsnest - let someone know or find a local support group. And Hun, wanting to brag about your hard work is not selfish in the least.
