I had my surgery on August 22, 2013. I started at 349 day of surgery and am in the 260s now. I have been rocking between 260-280 for 3 months now with nothing working. I am eating the suggested portion sizes, getting protein and going to gym 5 days a week. What is going on? Any tips or people that can relate?

Just wondering if anyone drinks soda and if so. How much how far out are you. Im 2 months out. And had a few sips the other day for nausea. Didnt go too bad other than burping a lot. Does it really stretch the stomach?

When did you start eating pickles? I am 6 weeks out and was considering making pickle wraps (ham, light laughing cow cheese and pickles) Is it too soon to eat them?

What is important to focus on? I log my calories, fat and protein. I don't pay a lot of attention to sugar but I am not eating anything that I wouldn't feed my toddler (that's my rule to help stay away from junk food) Do I need to focus on sugar free rather than fat free? I guess I assumed that fattening food made me obese, so low fat and fat free were pretty important. Can someone explain why sugar and or carbs may be more important to focus on. veterans any input????

As anyone had a tortilka wrap 5 weeks out. I was thinjibg of making one with Turkey and cheese and cutting it into 4ths. Any input? Too early??

I am 5 weeks out and havent lost since I started purees at 2 weeks post op any advice Im eating everything very low fat less than 10 grams a day between 400-600 cals and 60 grams protein daily.

I am 1 month post op tomorrow. I have lost 31 lbs but hit a stall on 9/10 and am getting discouraged. I am only getting 1 protein shake in a day and around 32 oz water. eating solid foods now. all low fat, low calorie, and low carb. does the protein and water really effect weightloss or is it the food intake? when did you see a change in your body, I keep waiting and I do not see a change yet.

I am beginning solid foods and I am trying to figure out which foods are okay to begin with and how people progressed to other foods. So far I have tried deli sliced turkey and ham (lean) and string cheese. I've had baked tilapia, and 2 oz canned chicken. I wanted to make a deli wrap and cut it into 4 different servings, but I'm unsure if a tortilla is okay to eat this early. Any suggestions I would appreciate.
