Ummm no! That's 64 pounds that would still be there had you done NOTHING at all. I'm sure it makes a huge difference health wise! Congrats!

I guess my question is why would you allow them to touch you after all of the red flags and creepy feelings? If this story is true I'm flabbergasted! -
So happy that this is going to happen for you! I pray your Diabetes and other ailments go bye bye!

Very interesting! But I have to believe restriction plays a part.

I am 5 days post op and am curious about what others in roughly the same time frame are eating. Can someone give me some examples? I'm struggling! I'm not even hungry. Trying to stay hydrated and get protein in for now!
-
That is amazing progress! Only 19 more! You got this! Congratulations!

Congrats! I know what you mean about not getting to sleep! I'm a nurse and I understand, but dang, it was every 1/2 hr. Happy recovery! -
Thanks guys! I'm pretty much eating the same stuff! Just wanted to make sure I'm "normal".

Insurance paying for protein drinks....
honeyg317 replied to leo0704's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Did you use the Apex info., or the CVS/Caremark info when applying online? I tried with my Aetna health and was turned down, and then asked if they could "run" it with my CVS/ Caremark and they told me no. It needed to be my Aetna, and not my prescription card. But, technically this is a prescription, correct?? I was turned down but tempted to try again with my CVS/Caremark card online. Did anyone else use their prescription card only, to apply, and get approved? I used CVS/Caremark online and they called for my Apex information. I would try again if I were you. -

I agree! The amount of money these surgeons are getting is mind blowing! And trust me when I say it's worth every penny! But, they should all bend over backwards to make things financially easier for their patients when possible! Protein shakes are NOT inexpensive! -

Just received my shipment! 4 18 count cartons of shakes (half chocolate/half vanilla), liquid vitamins, and scar cream! I have some papers to sign and send back and then the shipments should come automatically every month! This was easier than I thought! -
