O n i do have prescribed pills(capsules) for heartburn...But they get stuck so hesistent to take them

I m 3wks out and on soft/mushy foods. I m discouraged because 1) I get choked up 2) heart burn is a killer. Is this normal to feel this way? I swear sometimes i wish i would have jst not gotten this procedure done. I jst want to be able to drink normal and eat a lil without getting choked..uggh

Thank you all for your responses. My thing is i would be fine...if i could swallow the food w/o being choked or even having to eat so slow my food gets cold. Not that i miss "over eating". Again, Thank yall for the feedback

It will get better. But try more protein. Protein helps boost energy. I was going thru the same thing. I m 3wks post op. Good luck
