I like Pure Protein from Sam's Club. Box has 3 flavors. 20g protein and either 2 or 1g sugar. I also like Quest Bars that are naturally sweetened. chocolate Chunk and coconut cashew are my favorites.

Did you try different brands? Some things I wear a 1x top and others, large or extra large. I know it's hard to look at that size tag. That is something we ALL need to toss aside and just wear what looks good on us. Same thing with number on the scale. Lose until you feel good! -

Was the 6 months an insurance requirement? My insurance required a 3 month diet and it clearly stated you could not gain weight during those 3 months. -

I always buy mine at Sam's Club. But I know what you mean about thickness. When I first starting drinking them they weren't anywhere near as thick as they are now. So I pore the container into a glass, add ice and thin it out with Water. -

If you are going through insurance, it will depend on their requirements as to what comes next. At my first appt with the nutritionist, she explained the 3 month pre-op diet. -
