Im 3 months out HW 264 CW 196.4. What has helped me is my water intake. Dont worry about how fast you will loose the weight thats not important. Loosing the weight is of great significance. Just know that the weight is gonna come off and that you made the right decision to a healthier you. Long as you are making some type of progress give youself a pat on the back. Keep striving to get to goal weight and you will get there. Now lets rock this sleeve!

BelindaK hit the nail on the head. My doctor says that our biggest problem with being overweight is portion size. From my own personal experience. This is true. We need to eat healthy this is true, but not all carbs are bad. Your body needs carbs also. You just have to define what is good for you versus whats bad. If you do eat carbs just know that you must exercise because even good carbs can have an impact on weight gain as far as calories

I'm doing too much and nobody cares!
keglenne replied to determined1103's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Take a deep breath and relax. Right now house work and all the other stuff have to wait. I know you have to do for the baby but thats it. DONT get frustrated you can do this. Ask each and everyone specifically what it is you want them to do and why and if they dont do it there is nothing you can do about it. If the house is in a mess leave it. You dont want to bust your sleeve. You have to get some rest. Thats very important and stay hydrated. Mentally i know this situation is probably on your last nerve but you just had major surgery and you dont want complications simply because you did not do what you were suppose to do regarding home care for your sleeve. Do what you can take care of your little one and forget about the rest. You are gonna do just fine. Remember when you get frustrated take a deep breath and know that this is a positive step forward. Also remember to ask God for strength and patience. He will never leave you. Stay strong because you can do this because God got you. -
I have the same issue. My husband eats whatever and whenever he feels like it. This is the thing he has a totally different metabolism and genetic makeup than I do. Also he is comfortable with his weight but im not. So the way I look at it is this is my battle not anyone elses. I have to be in control of my own destiny. I have to make my own decisions on becoming a better me. Also this decision that I made to have the gastric sleeve done was solely my decision. I did this for me. So dont worry about your husband keep fighting till you are where you wana be. If you need support you have this forum and other support groups. Good luck God bless and lets loose some weight.:-)

After my two week visit my dr said to walk an hour. I had to actually make myself get on the treadmill probably a week and 1/2 later. Was just physically fatiqued. Doing much better now. I listen to some good downloads on my phone and get my bottled water and that hour passes by really fast.
