Please share what your Pre Diet consist of.... if you have had one. Pointers a plus!! I desperately need help!! I lost 40 before I even started my preop 6 mnt diet....an I'm now following a 1200 cal diet for the past 3 1/2 weeks an haven't even lost 1lb. I'm getting very discouraged. Can anyone please give me some pointers.... maybe I'm doin something wrong?? I go back on the 7th of Nov an she is expecting me to have lost least 10lbs.

Yes... I was actually stuck at- 40lbs two weeks before seeing my dietician. An when she put me on the 1200 cal diet I thought for sure that would end my being stuck. But I have been stuck maintaining it. Don't get me wrong I'm glad I ain't gaining but I sure would like it to go back the other way. I can feel a difference in the way my clothes fit. My mom seems to think I'm losing inches. But I wanna see it on the scale. Lol.

Wow... Only five days out an I haven't lost a pound!? NORMAL? 1200 cal diet. Doest it get easier!? Lol. #Not Giving Up!! #Ever.

I Jus started my 6 month diet yesterday! My cal intake is only 1200... Yesterday was a lil rough but I made it... today's been kinda the same. I'm trying to figure out how to space my meals so I won't feel hungry. Lol. Lookin into low cal foods to prepare.... My dietitian suggested: *Breakfast *Snack *Lunch *Snack *Dinner I'm tryin... I heard it gets easier. Good luck to you!! What does ur diet consist of?

I agree. When they told me I needed to lose weight I was like... okayyyyy I'm here because I CAN'T Lose weight but ur tellin me I have to lose before I can qualify for surgery. Her answer was they only do it for our own safety. The lower bmi the safer an less complicated surgery. It makes sense I guess. Jus hope I can lose all the weight to get my bmi to were they would like it to be. :/

Tomorrow will be my first appt to get things Rollin...My first of 3 required dietician appointments. Guessing I will be started on a 3 month medical diet?? How much is required to lose?? I'm so nervous. Anyone else jus beginning???

Oh Wow.. I haven't, but I will!!!! Thanks!!!!! Good luck on ur liquid diet. I done one day liquid diet jus to see what it would be like... it wasn't bad... but I'm sure more than one day would be rough at timed. I dropped 4 lbs. I was like woahh! Lol.

Ohhh... mine is way higher than that... my starting weight before I seen a Dr was 420lb in last 4 month's I have lost 38lbs bringing me to 382. They want me at less than 300 for surgery. Seems impossible, but jus gotta keep my mind right. Guess it can be done with ALOT of work. They want it 55 Or under by surgery date. Mine now is 66. OMG! Yea. I don't like to tell... but since I see everyone seems to be honest on this forum I may as well be too. :/ Thanks for listening.

Wow... wish I dint have a set amount to lose... but then again it's for my own good. Its cuz I have a really HIGH BMI. Sucks, I ever let myself go this far. Good luck!!!!!

Congrats on the 20lb loss!! I have to do a 6 month diet... I thought it was 3 but was informed today it is in fact 6. Was a lil bummed. So I need to loose 10lbs a month... till my 6 months is up... So I have to lose 60lbs. Wow. Lol. I have already lost 40lbs in last 4 month's....but that don't count I guess. Since it wasn't under supervision of a Dr. Sooooooooo if I lose 60 I will be down 90lbs. (I am a big girl) so I def NEED to to have less complications. Good luck to u!
