    Twisted/flip-flopped sleeves

Yeah never heard of this one and either. Where did you read these posts? Maybe they meant something else or that it just felt like their sleeve was twisted. I learned really quick while doing my research to not always believe everything you read though. My surgeon set me straight really quick my first appointment so I have found when in doubt I just ask him lol.

    Submitting to insurance

Congratulations!!! Yeah I am set to go in on the 16th. Once you get the approval things just fly by! It's waiting for that phone call or letter that may drive ya insane I know thats what it did to me lol. But just remember it will happen and usually before ya know it!
  3. So my first post got so many interesting answers that I couldn't wait to post again!!!! So I have a question for those of you who have been sleeved and have gotten to the point that you are eating solids again. I have heard from many that your taste for certain foods changes. Some things that you may not have liked before you may like now. I am sure this question has been asked before but... does anyone want to share their experience if this has happened? And if it has what foods did you find you liked more or liked less than before? Can't wait to hear the responses!

    Pre-op diet and diabetes

Hmm interesting to see all the different experiences. I definitely plan on being in close contact with my doc and endocrynologist the whole time but I was just curious about others experiences. Didn't even expect this many answers! This is my first post so it's cool to see that this group is so active love it!!!!!
  5. Hello everyone out there! So my surgery date is scheduled for the 16th of September. (yay can't wait) I have to start my pre op diet seven days before surgery and I was wondering if there is anyone out there who can tell me how it worked with their type 2 diabetes. I am just wondering what I might see and how others handled the juggling act of making sure your sugars don't go to low but also making sure they don't go to high either. Judging by the pre op diet I have a feeling that my sugar isn't going to decide to sky rocket but hey ya never know. So can anyone share their experience?
