I had dermabond on my incisions as well it was great no oozing or any messes coming from the incisions mine were never covered by badages and they were totally healed and the glue finally came off completely about 10-14 days

I had my first fill 6 weeks after surgery they numbed the skin but seemed like they were really manipulating of the port kept missing the "target" alot of poking the hard plastic thing. they finally succeeded in getting 4.5 cc in and my port area was sore for a couple weeks after :/ I am hoping my next fill at the end of the month goes much smoother.

I had my first fill last week and also am experiencing a bit of discomfort it gets a bit better everyday but she really had to poke and maneuver the needle around to hit the target :/ but its feeling better now hopefully yours will get better each day. as well

I Had surgery on the 9th and the nurse laughed because she said the first you said when you woke up is "thank god I didnt die" lol you will be fine they all know what they are doing you have to trust your medical staff

I had my surgery on March 9th I Was really nervous as well I Was okay the day of surgery just went in and did what they told me changed into my gown got weighed and peed in a cup got my ive went to the restroom the anesthesiologist came in and gave me something for my anxiety nd next thing I knew I Was waking up in recovery I Was not having too much pain but I said I Had a 7 on a scale between 1 & 10 hee hee they gave me some medicine in my IV and I Was off to sleep for an hour or so, I took me a while to fully wake up they put on a binder which was my best friend for a few weeks helps hold everything in place when moving around, coughng or sneezing they gave me some Water to sip on and some liquid lortab which made me very sick to my tummy but they called in a diferent pain medicine for me, that was a lil sore throwing up but I Stopped after I got it all up I Was extremely surprised the next morning when I Was getting ready for my shower I removed my binder to find no bandages and no stitches I Was glued shut no pain no oozing and nice lil tiny scars I never really had any incision pain but my port site was tender and still is if I wearing jeans for too long try not to worry your self too much it was easier than I anticipated and I HAd a speedy recovery I hope all is well with you tomorrow and you have an easy pain free time as well

I was banded on March 9th and also has had extreme nausea and vomiting due to an intolerance of the liquid vicodin my dr prescribed an antinausea medicine and switched to liquid tylenol and codiene and was better in a day I found that sucking on ice chips was a life saver its all I could keep down the first 24 hours :/ Might it be the pain meds making you so nauseated ? perhaps you can call your dr and ask for some antinausea meds to get you thru rhis rough time I hope you start feling better.

MAy I Ask what band you guys have the realize or the Lap-band?

Does that happen aright after you take the bite ? Or after you are done eating after a little bit of time?

I will be banded on March 9th looking forward to the day after when its all done and over with so I can sop worrying so much :/

I had to start with my primary care physician and he referred me to a bariatric surgeon in network and a hospital that is covered as well as all testing its all covered except the minimal co-pays

Do you have to cut out caffiene completely or can you just cut back?? I know diet cokes are a big nono but was wondering if a few glasses of ice tea would be okay.Thanks I am a lurker waiting to have my first appt on oct 11 with the surgeon:)

I was wondering if any of your folks from Orange County California have been operated on by Peter Le Port of Fountain Valley or Carson Liu of Garden Grove, If so how was it and did you like them?
