Omg that is me The smells all make me nauseous I think that some foods I loved taste different too I like the lack of hunger but I feel no pleasure or satisfaction eating and wondered if anyone else feels that way too I was sleeved on 8/30 preop weight 217 today 180

I have a question. Has anyone noticed that their sense of smell and taste is different? I feel like I am hypersensitive and smells make me nauseous Also some foods do not taste the same to me at all. I am still having some trouble eating solids and they can come back up on me so it is really trial and error. My preop weight was 217 the day of my surgery 8/30 I was 207 and today I am 180. I really like the lack of hunger but I do not enjoy food at all and also still have bad reflux despite the hiatal hernia repair? Any help or comments would be appreciated.

SLEEVE ON 8/30 CANNOT MAKIE IT SLEEPING AT NIGHT DUE TO PAIN ANY OTHERS? ADVICE? I feel like I move and manage during the day I dtill have residual pain primarily on left side and alot if soreness but I manage it and do not use pain meds day or night I stopped that within three days after getting home because I did not like the way it was making me feel At night I try multiple positions with varied success ti get comfortable but cannot stay in any particular position too long. I do not make it asleep more that for two to three hours at a time and bad gas pain will wake me I am up for a few hooours and repeat same pattern. All contributes to how I feel the following day

Can you please explain to me what this complication was and how it was identified? I have not heard of this and would like to learn more. How are you now feeling ? I hope better

I have had more pain on the left too.The shoulder pain was bad on the left and not on right which i think is related to the gas during surgery . My drain was on the left so I am just overall more sore on that side. I was a back sleepr prior with head elevated by two pillows First three days after surgery could only sleep n recliner Now I am doing well sleeping on my right side I had hiatul hernia repair at same time I guess we all have tofind a way to rest and sleep and a position that provides the most comfot until things settle down

Sleeved on the 30th an dcannot believe today is a week I would say I feel ok , the more I move the better I feel but afterwards feel totally exhausted Ran an errand for 30 minutes and was wiped out rest of day............worried about back to work Monday Crushing meds soe are ok others so bitter I stopped them......... Can anyone recommend brand for chewable vitamin? I tried ine day Opurity and it made me very nausous

As long as the popsicles and the jello and puddings are sugar free you should be fine. I found some brand shakes I like some are way too untolerable. I have also gone to Vitamin Shoppe and they had single size so you could buy and try and not be stuck with a whole jug. Mixing shakes in a blender with crushed ice makes them all taste better During the clear and full liquid phase I tried Isopure in single bottle clear protein in frost grape flavor and I did not mind it at all on ice I am on full liquids now too but that is beacause I am six days post op
