I see people that are in the 150 and 160 and are in a 8-10. figured it is just my frame and I try to keep positive. 100 lb's in 7 months is crazy good!! Glad that you have a positive attitude today! keep it up we can do this.

    HELP! Nausea!

I would not force it. We all are different. I know my doc said 2 weeks but I did not start till about 3 weeks. If you are tolerating the Protein drinks and getting Water in etc you could wait. I know by the time I had my first mushy food I was drooling for it. I had mayo and tuna. I could only get 2 bites in but that is how it goes. Soup you can get more in so maybe stay on strained soup for awhile. I did canned chicken with mayo also. Just make sure it is mashed up real good!! The longer you let your tummy heal the better ( just my opinion)

    The bubble guts

that is totally normal. I think I was like 2 weeks like that. I remember the first few days were really bad. Until you start eating solid food down the road things will get better. Hang in there and congrates!!

Such an amazing feeling. Way to go! I am 10 months and went from size10 to size 8.5 non wide shoes. Just bought new shoes yesterday so happy myself!
  10. A few days ago there was a post from someone who is in CA and went to her 3 year post op appointment. There was doctors and nuts there and on the post the person attached the long term findings from WLS by Kaiser doctors. If anyone can remember or help me find that post or send the reading I would love it. I was going to print it and forgot and now I can't find. Thanks
  11. I am one of those that told everyone upfront and after. I was so excited and just figured they will know anyway. I am 10 months and down 115 lbs. I felt that for me to say a lie was not for me. There is many others that don't tell but a lot said they were scared of failure of the surgery and not loosing. I must have been nieve because it never entered my mind I would not loose. We are all different. This was just my way. Wanted to shout it out to everyone because I felt so good.

    Gallbladder removed

Yes I am 10 months post op sleeve. I started having symtoms around 7 months. I had mine out in Feb. Besides being irritated of having to have another surgery and co pay ( 3,800 ) it was a breese. I was in and out same day. I worried about it and really it was nothing compared to the wls. I was down for about a week laying around. I have had no issues with food or bathroon issues. I do take a probiotic and I am very regualar. They say your diet should be lean and not a lot of fat and fried food which with our tool we don't eat that anyway so really not any differance for me. Good luck and wish you a speedy recovery.

    New addictions?

This really hits home for me. I am 10 months out and down over 100 lbs. Around 6 months I started shopping like crazy. I found myself wanting to go to the mall ever day. Then it seemed dull for me. I then had family visit in Feb and I went out and had a few cocktails. Then it was cocktails 2 days a week. Then it turned to every day cocktails. Mind you I used crystal light and logged my drinks so I did not gain. I have never talked to a therapist so I called my doctor and got referral. A very long time ago in my 20's I went to AA. I am now starting this again. It seems I have a compulsive issue going on. I am glad I am facing it and getting help but I am one of the unfortunate ones that seem to be dealing with cross addiction. I'm glad I learned about this via bpal. It is a daily struggle but I did this surgery to be healthy and happy.

    What am I feeling?

Curious what is up with the picture you have chosen?? It is totally scary?
  15. At one month out I also was eating 500 to 600 calories a day. Then about 4 months i ate 800. I am now 10 months and down over 100 lbs down. I eat 1000 to 1200 and work out 3 days a week now. It will come off. Just keep plugging away. Track your food daily it helps. The Vitamins will get better. You will see 4 or 5 months down the road you will feel like a new person. Hang in there.
  16. So you have TN blue cross blue shield but your in Dallas tx? Am I reading that right. I have bcbs in texas and was covered.

    Gallbladder?

You sound just like me. I was so not wanting another surgery. I had the same thing. My pain was like a 2 or 3 on a scale on1 to 10. Everything i read said it can turn into a major attack and you can end up in the ER with open surgery instead and I did not want that to happen. I called my doc to be safe and I had very large gallstones. The sucker had to come out. Now here is the good news if it is your gallbladder you are in first thing in the morning and out the same day. It is nothing like our wls surgery. Very quick. I have had no issues that you may read. Nothing except a little gassy for 2 weeks after. I only took off one week at work but really was fine in 3 days. I wish you the best of luck.
  24. awold0

    Feeling a little down.

Go read 3 week stall. It is normal.

    Ton of questions

I am 10 months post sleeve. I had to have gallbladder removed in feb. I have heard of others getting gallbladder removed with sleeve surgery. Some doctors do it prior. I had no issues upfront. I had issues starting around 7 months post sleeve then had to have removed.
