Cali my doc took pics of a rash that I had on the right side of my pannus. My pannus also covered my pubic area and I think that might be a reason to have plastic surgery. My doc took care of everything I can't tell you what was in the letter but if you took a look at my before pic I think the person in the insurance company wasgrossed out and stamped my letter approved to get it off their desk.

I needed help just to get up for two days. It was only to get up out of bed.I washed up and walked by myself. I even took my son to the storeon day 5 and my PS told me that I could go back to work on day7. Overall I am doing great. I went from a tight 14 to a comfy 10 and I am exercising. its amazing to see that I now have a lap. I even show coworkers my scar,not the entire scar but the side by my hip. they are amazed how thin and flat it is.

glad to hear that you are doing ok. take your time and please don't rush yourself. Soon the pain you now feel will be a distant memory. Then you can start to enjoy your new belly.

I would do this a thousand times over . This was the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I am post op 2 1/2 yrs. I am a nuese and went back to work in a week. Pain is a personal thing . what someone thinks of a mild you might thing its like walking on glass. My personal opinion,if you have the chance to have the surgery and are ready to change your life,in a good way then please go for it.

no problems I followed my doctors orders to the letter. I went back to work after 10 days. I am going to get some pics done when it stops raining and its nice out.

well I made a collage of before and afters and one of the nice people here resized it so here are te before pics taken on 5/21 and the after pics were taken on 7/2

I can understand when others do not know who you are. My ex-mother-in-law passed away last month and I have been divorced for 10 yrs so all my (in laws) know me as overweight. Well At the funeral my ex-sister-in-law thought I was my 20 yr old son's girlfriend. my did she ever turn a few shades of red after she found out who I was. In the begining it was fun to get the ohhsand awws now I would like to have people start seeing me as a person rather than a "fat girl with such a nice face" any suggestions ??? -
I am very soory that I have not posted pics but I cannot resize them to fit . If anyone would like to advise please feel free. I'm listening

Vanesa, I understand what you mean.I wear a large top and size 10-12pant depending on cut . And I still go into the plus size dept. I can go and look at clothes for hours then hop over to the plus size dept and seem to find everything that I want there with the exception that its no longer my size. I wonder how long it take before your brain catches up. I think I might have to go to some support groups .I think that my docs office holds support groups for people at maint. does anyone have any advice for this mind-body question??? Julie The other dat I ate a peanut butter ice cream sundae with nuts and whipped cream. Just wanted to throw that out there -
Just a heads up I will be at Planet Fitness around 6:30pm everyday this week .I will be at the 30min circle.

another one to try is Talipia or flounder marinated in cesar dressing and then a quick fry in the pan. just remeber not to over cook it or it can become dry. I found stuffed talipia at walmart in the frozen fish section. At my Walmart one stuffed filet costs 1dollar that right a buck and its enough to fill you up. they come in redpepper and scallop, spinach and cheese and shrimp and stuffing. You can nuke them but I chose to make a foil basket and grill it. gotta give this one a try.

I am in right along with everyone else. I have thin and fat days . I try to go and buy some cloths on my thin days,that way everything looks good. But lately I have been having my fat days when I want to lose another 20 lbs. When I go to my docand tell him I need a fill he usually asks why.He said that his goal for his patients is a bmi of 29 or lower. and as long as you are there he is ok with you weight. I kinda think that its ok for him to give a bmi range rather than a weight range. I would love to join an exercise challenge.I work a 10-12 hour day so getting my butt to the gym can be hard but if I need to report in I would drag myself there. -

when this this section appear?? I have been at goal for about 6months. I still tend to have my fat days but overall I am very happy with my results. -
I make my own smoothies, I told my doc about it and he said it was ok for a breakfast. I use 60 cal vanilla yogurt 1 cont. then add a bit of skim milk and some fruit. Frozen whole strawberries, crushed pineapple. bananas I even made one with banana and walnut. Mix it up in the magic bullet and drink right from the cup. please try it. andI have even made one up and froze it to a semi solid state .Ahh FAKE ice cream. try to make one you will be suprised at how good and simple it is to make.nd you can control the calories and sugar.

Kathy real quick quiche. 8oz of fake crab meat,chopped 40z cream cheese,cubed 3/4 C shredded mexicancheese salt and basil mix and set aside in another bowl 1/2cup egg beaters 1/2 C bisquick 1C skim milk mix to combine pour in to a 9in pie plate sprayed with Pam bake 375 for 40-50 min.

I just always thought that smoothies were made with yogurt. As for pureed food I just waited till I could eat the real thing, I did eat foods that the doc didn't want you to eat.I ate refried beans with low fat cheese and sour cream as meals. egg salad. tuna salad, quiche. I have a great recipe for a crab quiche.

I go to planet fitness after work so its about 6:30pm by the time I get there I could go on Tuesday morning but It depends what time .

I have been drinking a yogurt smoothie. 1 cont. 60-80 cal van.yogurt crushed pineapple 1/2 banana skim milk and an Icecube whiz it up in the magic bullet and presto. Dr.Kwon suggested adding some protein powder . I have also made a banana-walnut one and a strawberry-banana,pineapple one.

I have become addicted to the 30 minute workout. I go after work and they have trainers during tht time.Let me tell you those ladies work you out.I actually look forward to the machine part of the workout but after you finish it you feel gret. Tomorrow will be the first time back after my last surgery. I really can't wait.

aww to be a part time worker. I would love to do that. But my youngest is now 20 so I am not really needed home. I make coffee for him before he leaves for work at night(he works overnights).In the morning we pass each other on the way in and out. If anyone goes to Planet fitness I would love to have a workout partner.I go after work,around6:30pm

I have found that I now crave fish. Tilapia is a great fish to cook not very fishy,quickand easy to cook I too buy the big bag from Sam's but I get the plain and then I can chhose how I like to cook it. try plain Tilapia dipped in milk then into seasoned instant potato flakes. fry in a bit of olive oil. spinkle a bit of lemon when done. its good .try it -
I had a tummy tuck and if you go tot he Panniculectomy thread in the plastic surgery section you will see the extra skin they took off. If you message me your email I would be very happy to send you some pics. as I have a hard time resizing them on this site.
