Morning Girls; Off to go see Mom in a few minutes, but wanted to pop in here first... Thanks so much for the phone call last night Janet... It means a lot to me that all you girls care so much. You made me laugh and that was GREAT, it felt wonderful... after a day of stressing. Also spoke to Peters SISTER for over an hour last night, her DH walked out on her Christmas Eve.. so needless to say, there is a ton of family stress right now... and not a Damn thing I can do about any of it.....!! So I am going on my trip, and having a great time... my travel partner is bringing her laptop (dah) so perhaps Ièll be able to get on and check my email and LBT.... whoo-hoo... then I can give you all a travelog along the way!!! Karla; Why arenèt those GIRLS of yours cleaning up after themselves.... you just had surgery... they should be pampering YOU!!! Tell them to get off their asses or leave!! Oh m y Gosh, so much has happened in the last coup;le of day... Phyl is posting again, Chim is back... WOW Firstly, Chim: so glad to see you back with us... Congrats on the healthy 14mo. old baby... Whoo-hoo... you HAVE been busy. ALso happy for you that you are getting your band again.. Fantastic news.. Girl, don't worry about the 300 lb number... it will soon be the PAST FOREVER... we will help you here.. we are all losing!! Janet: I worked this a.m. at the clinic, came home for a lunch break and got a call from my mothers SR's Residance... she's been taken by ambulance to the Hospital.. chest pains, shortness of breath, feet and legs very swollen.... EMT's did an EKG and it didn't show anything bad... but they are taking her to hosp. just in case, to ck her out... So I guess I'm not working this aft. and will be meeting her at the hospital to see whats going on. I am going to give it an hour or 2 before I go in... as she'll be having tons of tests done and they won't let me in at that point anyways... but gotta go in a bit. Please ladies, send up some prayers for my MOM. I dont' want her to be in any pain... CBL and let you know how things are. Candice

Janet, I leave on SATURDAY not sunday... Peter drives me to the airport early afternoon. Plane flys at 4:40 p.m. and arrive in Italy in the am.... 2nd Jan SUNDAY, Monday 3rd Jan, Tuesday we get onto the ship. SHIP leaves 4th Jan my Itinerary is: Day 1 Genova Italy Day 2: At sea Day 3: Katakolon, Greece Day 4`: Heraklion, Greece Day 5: Marmaris, Turkey Day 6: Alexandria, Eqypt (CAIRO) Day 7: at sea Day 8: Athen, Greece Day 9 : At sea Day 10: Palermo, Sicily ITALY Day 11: Rome, Italy Day 12: Genova, Italy then we have another overnight in Hotel in Genova, Ita ly,,,, we spell it Genoa, but in ITALIAN they spell it with a ``V`` as well...??? Dont know whats up with that...

Oh Phyl, I am so DAH!! I do remember you telling me now that you were leaveing on SUNDAY rather than the Monday because of traffic. I am glad you had both your girls together to enjoy Christmas... Mom`s always want that ... Hugs to Earl... poor guy has to do all that driving... Herès praying you have a DRY and WARM drive south!!! Janet, how was work today? We drove to Toronto to see the kids and Bryan`s family... nice dinner out, but I couldnt`hardly eat anything... CHinese food... WOn Toon soup was o.k. but then thew Chicken was WAY to spic y for my band... so Ate a cup of rice... that was all there was that would go down.. Had 2 glasses of wine and 1/2 pice of Turtlwe Pie.. frozen thing, not homemade... YUCKY actually so gave it to Peter to finish.. it was actually TOO SWEET... man I didn`t think I`d ever hear myself say THAT!!! Bryan`s mother gave me a gift... I was so embarrased as I only brought her a box of Swiss Chocolate (she`s tiny and can afford the calories!!!) she gave me a Purse... brown/white FUR and leather purse... its interesting... but have NO idea where I`d ever wear it.. Peter says , keep it away from Bridget .... she might get mistaken and try to Mate WITH IT.!!! Bryan`s Aunt gave me a bottle of wine, as well as his sister.... guess they know I`m a PROBLEM DRINKER!!! lol Had a nice long chat with his mother... she and I are becoming friends... She even invited me to go to Vietnam with her next winter....!!! Very nice of her to offer... but I don`t know about THAT trip... Bryan left Vtnam when he was 8 yrs old and has NEVER been back... there must be a good reason... Karla, so sorry your tummy is acting up.. I am sure it is just the flu. time of year for it... plus you are probably run down... take some gravol and rest... Thanks for the kind words about the PETER situation... man o man... !!! Ahw TIna; HUGS GIrl!!! I am happy to hear that you and your partner are going to try again.... you should never make major life decisions while you are depressed... It is probably ALL THE DEPRESSION that came between You and your partner. SO glad that you are going to see a therapist and restarted your antidepressants. WHy did you decide to come off them 2 years ago?? Just so you don`t think I am talking thru my ass. I understand where you are... I am Bipolar, was diagnosed in 1990 and have taken meds ever sinc e.... I will for the rest of my life.. It was an easy decsion for me... LIVE or Die... My father was also Bipolar and committed suicide at age 59.. I was only 20 yrs old.. I miss him to this very day. Tina; I am sorry to hear of your relationship problems... seems they always get exaserbated this time of year. My BIL packed up and walked out on my SIL(DH sister) on Xmas Eve... Can you imagine?? I know St. Thomas, On. have family there too... small world isn`t it? Shopping returns today (YUK) and I finally hemmed my 2 pair of pants today.... for my luggage, which I still havn`t gottwen out yet!!! Gotta get packing... Phyl, where are you girl? are you driving SOUTH again ?? New Years Eve plans?... Peter has a gig so I am going to go and watch = too depressing to sit home alone... plus I am leavign the next day so I want to spend the time (with) him.... ha,ha.ha. HAPPY BOXING DAY EVERYONE!! Peter has alreadyt been out SHOPPING... oh my!!! I was still in bed. JUst got up and made myself a nice coffee with sugar free Irish Cream Syrop!! YUMMMM 178 lbs today; pretty good weight!!! All things considered... I ate pistachio nuts yesterday 1/4 cup. but pretty salty... Ate Christmas dinner with my Mom and it was not as good as previous years... I think I might volunteer to do it myself next year... Pumpkin pie was good!!! It was a low sugar pie, but it still would have had too many calories.... but it was my Christmas Cheat... No cookies, no candy!!! Then we came home and went over to friends house for a couple glasses of wine.. no food served there GREAT!!! Made some Christmas morning phone calls to Mexico to my Sister and Her Husband... they are fine... going to a WEDDING today in Mexico.. way up in the mountains.... oh my, my Sister HATES the winding roads there.... she`ll probably have her eyes closed a ll the way there, and then be tipsy enough on the way home to manage... Called my SIL (Peter`s sister) to wish her and her hubby FIORE a Merry Christmas.... also spoke to Peter`s brother Steve who is living in their basement (for the past year!) ... Sis and Bro are fine, but Lindsay`s Husband Fiore. walked OUT last night... packed a bag and left.... so we are all in kinda shock... I really liked my BIL so I don`t quite know what to think at this point.. shitty time of year to do it to someone though... Don`t know what he is thinking!!!! 55 yrs old so maybe a mens mid life crisis.... Now, my SIL is not the SUNNYIEST of dispositions, so perhaps he just had enough... anyways I hope and pray that they work things out... this was her 3rd marriage!!! I like this No. 3 hubby the best of them all.... He`s the one that dressed up as ELVIS for Peter`s 60th b-day party... really funny guy. Phyl, I told Janet, I ordered online a KRUPPS coffee dolce thingy... oh my gosh is the COFFEE ever good.... Peter was not so impressed but then he hasn`t had one yet!!!! I got some musical EGGS, for shaking.... and a magnetic pin cushion (really needed that as I smashed my last one 2 wks ago) Also he gave me some sugar free crystal light candies, and some pistachio nuts!!! ha, ha,ha... yeah, no Chocolate to dream over this year!!! THEN, he gave me an envelope... with $500 U.S. dollars in it for my TRIP.... oh yeah for sure!!! Cause I can only use Euros in Italy, Greece.... not Turkey and Egypt... so the U.S. will come in handy as they take it EVERYWHERE around the globe!!! YEAH USA!!!! Hi all, quiet night here. Peter and I opened a bottle of our wine from France that we lugged home a year ago... It was good, then we ate shrimp cocktail, coconut shrimp, and Puff Pastry appetizers..... and then I had made a Sugar Free, Low Fat version of my Apple Crisp... with Light Cool whip on it... it was o.k. but not GREAT... but that is the extent of my food splurge... no cooking for me tomorrow, going to my Mom`s for Turkey dinner... It will be nice, and we are taking Bridget to visit the old folks... she LOVES it. Plus it gives us all something to talk about, and Peter gets to go for lots of little ``walks`with the dog.
