Hi Girls; another lazy day... still enjoying JUST being HOME... ah!!! Karla; Firstly, please don't let that ONE minister deter you from finding a Church for worship.. You are a lady that has so much to offer!!! Besides, remember that THE MINISTER is also a MORTAL ,and there fore is automatically FLICKED!!! Disregard ANYTHING from that man... he is the one who is troubled. I concur with Phyl, find another church!!! You need the people connections... yu have stated that you don't have many close friends, except for US... now .. ahem.. WE are wonderful, but some flesh and blood people in your life are also needed... YOu had such a great tirme a t the brewry right? Make it a plan to do a SOCIAL out once a week... just for YOU!! Be it church or a social group... Those People in Stevensville NEED you!!! Got a quesstion though, how on earth did you drink Beer??? I can't do anything with bubbles., hurts like hell???? Secondly; I am doing Kegals.... even SUPER kegals... I have gotten my time up to 1 hour + 45 mins... its hard today, cause I added 10 more minutes.... so when I start to get the urge, I stand up and do SUPER Kegals to try and hold it off... Phyl: Zoey sounds like my WOODY girl, she loved the water too.. and boat rides...oh my gosh.. she'd get up on the bow of the boat and stare at all the bubbles in the wake.. it was really funny to watch her. Its not her fault she tried to pee in front of the F/P... she smelled the other dogs in that house and just Wanted to establish her PACK order there, in the new environment... Earl should not have punished her, she'd not have any idea what he was punishing her for...poor little thing. And Janet being a doggie person, wouldn't have freeked on you. Poor Zoey!!! Janet, whoo0=hooo for balanceing the books of the ranch... that is a big load off your mind, I know you've been stressing about it.

IN MY P.J.`s !!! How lazy is that!!! I talked to my Mom yesterday, she is doing o.k. But still very weak... I don`t know if that will change or not... time will tell...plus physio therapy might help.. I sure hope so. Stephanie, are you rested now from the Bday party... did you throw out all the leftover Cake.....?? I have been thinking about cake all day... crap!!! But I am journaling food, and so far no pig outs for me!! Congrats to Jeff, sticking too his plan... he is such a sweetie!

JANET AND pHYL; GLAD your dinner event wemt well... but eating so late!! I am not used to that!! Did Zoey stay clean? ha,ha,ha.... how about your 3 dogs... did they all get along? Weather here today is colder. -23 degrees... but at least it will freeze the LAKE... that will be worth it... so Bridget and I had a lazy day.. I watched a 2 hour History Channel program about the BOmbing BLitz of Germany in WWII... I am fasinated by WWII history, plus my Dad flew with the RAF (The Royal Air Force in Briton) he was a bombadier in a Lancaster Bomber... so it was very interesting for me.. Trying to imagine what his life was like in those days... Terrifying I am sure. Then I started to watch another movie (with Bridget) on my lap ... and I fell asleep... misssed my TIMER. I`ve been trying to re-train my bladder this week... and have gotten myself up to 95 mins between voiding. So I slept thru my timer.. and now my stop watch is fucked up.... oh well... Cathy was complaining about my bladder habits when we were on vacation.... so I am trying to stretch it. LOL Peter just got home, he had a band rehearsal (Rock) and I`M STILL

Is any of my snow melting? Are you kidding me? I still look like I live in an IGLOO.... -15 degrees here last couplle of days, the good thing about this cold snap is that it will finally FREEZE Georgian Bay and then the snow will let up.... PLEASE!!! I am not c omplaining though, it is still REALLY GOOD TO BE HOME!!! So much FLU going around here, almost epidemic in Southern Ontario... sure glad I got my FLU shot in October!!!

HI Kerry; are you 29 yrs old? IF so, you are so lucky to be getting this surgery now .... and not putting it off until you are 51 yrs old like I did... I had my surgery July 2007 and it was the BEST thing I have ever done for myself.. It was the beginning of really learning to LOVE myself, and taking CARE of myself. Bravo, to you for making such a huge decision. Listen to DODDIE's Post, I;ve communicated with her over the years , and she alwyays has sage advise. I just got back from a 16 day CRUISE... guess what? I only gained 3 lbs. and I've lost 2 of that already... This would NEVER have been possible before BANDING... it would have been a 16 day daily grazing at the Buffett tables, and 7 course meals... What I ate on this cruise? Soup, small entre of meat, and SUgar free icecream for dessert.. and I was satisfied and Full.... everyone else was eating, and eating, and eating... I was the chatterbox at the table as NOW I eat much more slowly, but consume far less... gives me more time to Socialize... I was a SHOVELLER before... ya know how you can hoover in food? Well, that is ancient history. GIve it some time, you will love the NEW you. Candice

Janet, i was thinking about your computer problems.... why not buy an IPAD from Apple, it functions as an E-reader, plus you can do all your email, andd Internet right from it... it will also conect to ports for your printer or mouse.... In Canada about 500 , May be cheaper in the US... just a thought. Peter loves his SONY E=reader that I got him for xmas... its always in his hands.... and I DONT have to look at HIS pile of books on the FLoor anymore ....Yippee!!! At the clinic today working a day for Julie, her kid is sick...., whoo hoo another $100 for my March trip,.... n but bored ;-(

All the books I mentioned by wally lamb are fiction... no they are NOT a series... so you can pick up one to see if you like him.... or continue ....whatever you like... they are all differnt, but he really seems to understand the FEMALE psychi and writes in such a style that I cannot put them down!! Don't beat yourself up about the binge, just TURN THE PAGE... and continue your resolve!! You can do it!

ok starting this post over agian... crappe dout. Janet: I use TIDE Ultra Sensitive , unscented for my washing. I only use 1/2 the amount measuring.... NOTHING in the dryer at all, no downy, no bounce- they are horrible also I always do an extra RINSE Cycle on the washing machine - just to be extra carefull.... THANKS! Phyl: Yup I agree, karla's script is good to use... try it out on EARL,,, his moods don't just affext HIM, it effects everyone in the family... you shouldn't have to put up with that.. I've read every book he's written, fabulous author... Today, I had BFST: 3|4 of an Egg mcMuffin, coffee, swiss chalet chicken for dinner, 1\4 dark, no potatoe, no fries, but had the multigrain ROLL and butter... oh and 1 glass of wine!! Itch is getting somewhat better, the prednisone pills are working!!! YEAH!!! Janet" when I come to visit in March I may have to bring my OWN towels, and sheets... and an UMBRELLA for the sun.. just can't be stupid about it anymore...

Hi girls; sorry Ive been MIA, still trying to get back into my routine at home.. Doctors this a,m. for some Prednisone pills for my allergic reaction!! thenthis aft. got a whole new set of nails.. SOLAR NAILS, they are more expensive... but so pretty and damn it I am worth it... as I am now back on my Food Plan and have already lost 1 lb of the 3 I gained on the cruis...So I am very happy with that. Food today, Pro bar, Chicken jerky bites, 2 coffees, 1 tea, supper was left over Turkey Dinner from last night OH YUM!! Then I made Peter some TURKEY WILD RICE soup... it was good, he had 2 bowls... I think he is glad I am back to do all the cooking!!! I`ll hve soup tomorrow.... This evening I`ve been getting caught up with all my GF`s they`ve been calling since I got home and just got around to returning phone calls tonight. Then it was time to get the rest of my Pictures up on Facebook... Tomorrow, going to see MOM and take her a mini photo album to look thru of my trip... she`ll like that... then Band rehearsal tomorrow night... Karla, listen to Janet... she`s right about the MOM thing, none of us had the MOTHERS THAT WE WANTED or NEEDED... we got what we got.. and its up to us to LOVE ourselves.. not regret what we didn`t get from them... does that make any sense?? ANd Ditto what Janet said, you are OUR family here.. and we all love and respect you.. you are such a talented and smart lady (ah, except for the vaccumming!!) So don`t forget that o.k.? Hi Phyl, yes Cancer is a HORRID thing. I think that by this day and age there should be a cure. Geez if they can put a man on the moon, live up in space... why can;t we cure cancer.... Or... is it just that CANCER is a moneymaker for so many companies!!! hummmm.... Food today: Protien Shake (started with scrambled eggs but they stuck), Protien Bar for lunch. then for Dinner I made a TURKEY, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes.... only had a Luncheon sized plate... and oh was home cooking good!!! YUM YUM, cant`wait until tomorrow for thew leftovers, Soups, Casseroles.... I missed it at Christmas. THey served Turkey one night on the cruise ship, but I figured... eh, Italians will NOT iknow how to Make a North American Specialty!!! I was right! LOL

Oh Karla; I hate when the post gets lost... have you heard any more about your Mom? I called my GF Janice when I got home, she had to have her right breast & lymph nodes removed first week of Jan. Cancer, the invasive variety... once she is done with chemo, rad. she is having her LEFT breast removed too.... just as a precaution. Its horrible... I wish I was there with her.. Janice and I have a long history of being there for ea other in ruff times. We are very different personalities, but her husband and mine were BFF`s since highschool... she ws great with me when I had my last Manic episode, came and stayed with me for the week, while Peter went to work.... she was a rock for me then. Her other dear friend is there with her right now , but going home to P.E.I. (Maritimes) on Wednesday, then shell be on her own again. O,k this is 2011, a brand new year... we have to get the Positive Vibes going again in our loved ones lives. It seems like everyones lives are touched with some crisis right now. I talked to my Mom this a.m.... she sounded aweful, but Pete said.... she was much worse when in the hospital... so each day is a bonus day.... I don`t know how much more her poor little heart can dish out.

Morning girls; I ve had a nice sleep 10 hrs in my own bed.... Ah that felt good... 2nd load of laundry now in the machine, and one CANADIAN Coffee is in my FAce!!! Oh its so nice to be home!!!! Little Bridget was so glad to see me that she piddled on the floor for 15 mins....!!! Didn't mind cleaning up that one. I am covered from head to toe with my RASH again... it must have been the laundry soap/bleach stuff in the sheets and towel on board and in our final hotel in Genova... God I am itchy!!! Took 2 reactine and have called my Doctor... will need a Rx for Prednisone to clear this up. Karla, Phyl is right... there is nothing you can do for your Mom, your siblings will just have to deal!!! Hey - did any of THEM come to nurse you back to health after your TWO surgeries!!! No guilt tripping for you girl...you just relax and heal. Janet; my those ranch bills and estate, I agree ... you should get something for your efforts!!! Hang in there.. Can't wait to see you guys in 8 weeks!! Wow, that will come up fast. LInda, I know you are lurking... so LOVE from all of us.... Stephanie; Good job getting back on the band waagon... we will all ber there with you. I have not gotten on the scales yet, I know I am up.. but that's o.k. When will I ever eat real Italian FOOD ever again???? Hi girls, still not home in Canada yet.... still sitting here in Genoa, waitng for Cathy to finish packing her bags!!! God, we;ve only been here 6 hours what was to unpack????argh!!!! Linda, glad you posted, but so sorry to hear about the Mindy woes... gosh, that has been a terrible worry for you.!! HUGS< HUGS< HUGS and many many prayers too. Wish I'd said some prayers for you all while I was AT the Vatican!! ... Will be home tomorrow this time....ah.... it will be nice for sure..Petie is missing me.Turns out m y Mom had another heart attack but she survived and is at home once again... she is the REAL Everyready Bunny!!!! Stopped on the street and had a glass of wine, shopped, walked about and got back to oiur room in time for a movie - in ENGLISH..... .. I can't wait to be able to eavesdrop again!!! Ive spent most of my time trying to ignore all the stuff I don't speak... weird!! MEt these folks from Cali... they were with us and got lost IN the vatican.... I dint know their names, but knew they were with our bus.... so when I found them ... I yelled out "Hey California, OVER here!!!"" they looked up right away, saw Cathy and Me and we all STARTED laughing our asses off... thankfully we all made it back to the bus o.k. and on time. All the other French people couldn't care less if we wandered off!!! Boobs!!! Gettin up early to catch the plane so gotta sign off for now. Chow bella!!

o.k. girls, I read all the pages..... whew you've really been junking it up while I was gone!!! LOL Stephanie; back - yeah... why did you ever leave? We have missed you so. I am sitting in a room in Genoa, Italy. Off the ship... its finito! Will be home in Canada by 4 p.m. local time.. It has been a great vacation, but I am home sick now... LOved getting off the boat in Genoa, it felt like HOME. This is a really beautiful country, and I can't wait to come to Italy, Greece again... Sicily- oh my it is so wonderful... Food onboard was a bit of a dissappointment. Could right volumes on that, but I won't bore you. Met some fabulous Whelsh People, and some funny Americans.... but frankly.... If I don;t see another German or Frenchman for a few years, that'll be o.k. by me!!!! THey are so damn rude. Push everywhere... I finally gave up lining up politly for things and told Cathy. Fuck it.... its Every Man for Himself..., when in Rome.... as they say. WE got off the boat quickly and effortlessly, they didn't lose our luggage!!! but alas our Poor Whelsh friends got theirs mislaid so that was our last SIGHT of them..... they were arguing in line again!!!! We hopped into a little cabe, our driver humped our bulging luggage up all the steps at thwe hotel so we tipped him 5 Euro(7 U.S) he almost kissed us!! LOL Hotel rooms are tiny by US/Cdn standards, but oh is it nice!!!!!! ANd its on dry land!!! I love Genoa!! did I say that already??? Letter from Peter says my Mom is home from hospital, she's had a heart attack and is weak, but is home and eating ... she says she's happy now that she's home... Peter will pick me up tomorrow at the air... it will be so good to HUG & KISS him.... I hope he brings Bridget with him....!!!!! Karla, I am glad your 2nd surg is behind you now.., now recovery full speed ahead. Ladies, I am going to have such stories to tell you.., hardly know where to begin. Trip was fab... although I will not travel again on MSC Mediteranean Shiping Company a.k.a. Mediocre Shipfood on China!!!! Dr. Cathy and I are still on good terms... yeah!! I was wondering if she'd get sick of me after 14 days! Haa,,, but this is HER laptop.... LOL She just had her 1st bath..., we actually have a TUB in the room whoo-hoo... funny how little things mean so much. Like STARBUCKS!!! FUCK I can't wait to have a REAL 12oz. cup of coffee!!! AMerican/Cdn style.... OMG.... espresso is good, but for 3 Euro each??? No wonder I had a bar bill..., my bar tab was as high as my pricw for the cruise.. id oh how will I hide that from Peter??? OH and Peter, how am I going to tell him I am going to Cali in March???? Will have to timew that between boink #1 and boink #2..... oh and a trip in July??? well thats not gonna happen... unless all you girls want to come up to Canada again???? I;d be happy to host you ALL... as would Peter... he loved your visit last time. Karla, you and Steph could drive in your motor home and pick up Linda along the way... omy gosh, I am sitting in the lobby of the hotel... to get wifi servcice..dosnt work in our room??? There is this little family sitting beside me on the sette... their 3yr old is jabbering away in Italian...does it ever sound funny... I can't stop looking at her... so cute... GOD I wish I knew wht she was rattling on about... it soundsbou SO interesting.We board our ship today, but not until this afternoon.. and Typing here, hoping it will bring on a BM... I know too much TMI but, alas that's what I am thinking about this morning. Karla, I have a superb pair of shoes that I brought from Canada... ALso bought the cutest shawl/sweater thing yest. I think it will be cold on the ship... About 45 degrees yest. nice for hiking around and up and down. PB'd on breaky this a.m... had to go back and drink yougurt thingys... they are good, probiotic I think... but really just guessing cause everything is in Italian... ha,ha,ha... calories, no clue!! but with all this walking and no snacking, I think I will be doing o.k. calorie wise.WHere is Phul?? Hi Ladies!! Its me Candic-a Mari-a.... in Genova, Italty OMG this city is beautiful.... so nice... on a hillside!!, downward to the marina area... HUGE port! Many marny ships dock here. We have Walked all day, my feet are killing me.. Genova is very hilly, many inclines,., just like on the treadmill...OMG we saw and went inside of Christopher Columbus's house today... so awesome!! Also we went into the twin Towers (ancient) built 1150 AD we climed to the roof top and got some beautiful shots from that vantage point.... so pretty.... But the stair climbing, oh was steep steps.... hurting Cathy's knees.... ha,ha,ha.,, She's been funny, weve goten along well so far.... she dosn't like all my pee stops, but what can you do...Oh Italy is so civilized...porcelain toilets.... ! Yeah, a major prerequisite for me!!!! This is the MOST beautiful city I have ever seen!!! Cant wait to board the ship tomorrow.., eating no problemo... not much I can eat/ had shrimp for dinner lst night, and veal scallopini... (its not breaded here :-( ) what were they thinking?? Cathty ate pasta, it looked delicious, I may attempt it tonight.... so much walking hahahaha... and steps OMword.. Phyl this is NOT atown for you to visit... the streets are practically boulders, layed as paving stones... very uneven underfoot... I was always looking down!!! Then I just about got hit by a car in the piaazza!! Cathy saved me from near diaster!!! GUy swore at me in Italian... Drank a bottle of wine yest..., very good... more needed tonight~!!! ha,ha Miss yiu girls.. Karla, I am glad you finally got some food into yourself,,,, keep it up o.k. Hi girls, just chilling at home tonight. I didn't feel like going out to the bar with Peter( he's playing in Rock Band) At Players in Barrie.. I just watched a crappy movie with George Clooney in it "THe American" ... don't waste your $$$ it sucked! But I am getting in my last snuggles with Bridget... gosh I am going to miss that dog!!! Got my bags packed, weighed etc.. I am just under the weight constraints.. so whew!! I am glad Earl is being nice today... that is no fun for Phyl~~~ Karla, you'll soon have your place back to yourself... ah... quiet eh?? Isn't it funny, when the girls are not around you miss them like crazy.... have em home for a few days and WHOAH, it gets to be too much. Yes, Karla take RANITADINE or ZANTAC you can buy it OTC , regular strength or Extra strength and it last for 12 hours a day... I drink a lot of coffee too, trying not to eat junk!! And it does make MORE Acid in your tummy, you could also switch to DECAF.... When I am out, instead of stopping any buying JUNK, I treat myself to a nice Low fat Latte, or some Sugarfree yummy Starbucks.. I am NOT giving THAT up!!!
