:thumbup:CALORIESCARBSFATPROTEIN 1,3571416267 O.k. these are my numbers for yesterday... Everybody that's tettering on the edge of control should start reporting. DAILY!!!! But yuck, I am still sick... I was up in the night several times coughing and hacking up a lung... Plus my ear infection is still painful. BUt enough about that crap.!!!! I just had a great phone call from my Sister in Mexico... she sounds so good... God I miss her!!!! SHe lives there with my BIL for 6mos and he works a Greenhouse operation growing tomatoes for export to Canada... She is 10 years older than me and I cherish the relationship... Everyone have a super New Year... 2009 I can hardly beleive it's here. Stephanie, good for you getting into your fitness with Gillian... she is a powerhouse for sure. Karri (Oregon ); is there a nurse locally or Dr. that can give you a de-fill???? rather than driving all the way over the mountains? I wouldn't want to do that in winter either. Snow here is fresh white again, we had a huge melt the other day, then yesterday a fresh snow storm... so its all cleaned up again... Luckily we didn't have any flooding, but lots of areas in Canada were not so lucky as us. Janet, you are probably back at work today, that's why you are quiet.... Take care everyone, HUGS, C

Laney; You are TOO tight. If you can't eat solid protien that is not good... it then becomes too easy to turn to slider foods that will not help you achieve weight loss. JMO, Candice

Phyl; your daughter sounds like she has a very BIG heart... bless her for taking in Foster children. I am like Janet, I would get too attached and NOT be able to let them go. Janet; You can hound me... you have my permission. I am serious, as this morning I COMMITTED my goals for 2009 to my hubby... I gave him "EARL CONTROL:" over anything I eat... LOL No sugary junk, no white flour junk, journal ALL my food, allow for evening snacks 100-150 cals per. Only icecream allowed is McD Low fat cone... so there. that's it... + exercise of course... Called in SICK today for work, I must be sick cause I don't even feel guilty! PB's on my Oatmeal this noon, so finally got it down 1 hour later.. then onto some tea. Does everybody get tighter when they have a cold or flu??? This is the first time I've been sick since banding. Stay warm and keep out of the WINDS today. love C:tt2:

Awh, Denise; I am sorry you are feeling LOW... sometimes after Christmas I get that way too.. but luckily not this year (?) Keep busy, it'll help somewhat... and get some fresh air and SUNSHINE.... it works wonders. Janet: Yes, my visit last night/today in TO with the new relatives to be was great. My DD cooked (somebody note the date and time of THIS event LOL) her food was delicious too. I ate the coconut cake that she baked and I had 1 Rum/pineapple juice cocktail... My SIL2B's Aunt bought me a Christmas gift, I had brought nothing so I felt like a bit of a heel.... but she and I got along fine even with the language barrier (her native language is Vietnamese) there were plenty of youngin's to translate for us... so we had a few laughs and played sherades to get the rest across... very nice people. Phyl: Sorry you didn't get out to your event... that's a bummer. How is Earl doing these days.... has he stopped watching CNN for the stock reports? How long will you have your company? I am back to work tomorow, that's if my scratchy throat goes away, otherwise I am calling in SICK. It'll be the first time ever. later babes, sleep tite Can

It's almost still morning officially 11:48 a.m my time! I only woke up 1/2 hour ago, I am now eating my breakfast (Oatmeal w/flax seeds/skim milk) I don't know if I mentioned that my Dr. changed my Meds 22 Dec. and they are REALLY sedating. So I take them before bed and WHAM... I sleep 12 hours. Don't need quite that much and I don't know how I'll cope once I get back to work.. We'll see. However, on the positive they DO NOT BOTHER by STOMACH and that was the main reason I switched meds. The other pills I had to take with meals, and then 2 hours later I'd get this terrible burning in my stomach and esophogus... it really sucked big time. I was also worried about the down the road problems... ulcer, hiatus hernia, esophogitis.... So, for now I am happy except for the sleep thing... we'll monitor it and see how it goes. I am happy to see everyone's pictures of Xmas... its so cool to see others family's.. Janet, did you say my Peter was a HUNK? that is too funny, for sure I'll tell him that - it'll brighten his day. He has a horrible FLU right now and is miserable.. poor guy! He really is a sweetie and he thinks I look as good as I did in the old days... thank God his vision is failing LOL. Yes my Dad was very fashionable in his day. Always dressed to the "9"s. He and my Mother were quite a handsome couple. And they loved each other very much. Don't know if you can see that in the photos, but it was there. Unfortunately there are NO pictures of my Sister? That's a shame... she is my best friend in the world, next to my Hubby. I am off to my daughters place in T.O. today, she is inviting SIL2B''s family as well... should be interesting....and fun. Oh another bonus of my new meds, don't have the same level of appetite..... Kari, how did you do in Vegas? You lucky ducky, I wish I was there!!!! Phyl; Your new picture in the purple t looks fantastic. I love your vivacious smile!!! Linda, has had her surgery and is fixed. Had to do some band repairs as well as her hiatus hernia. So she is on the mend. later babes, Candice

I am hoping this works... My DD and SIL2B had our wedding photos scanned and re-touched for our Christmas gift... then they are putting them all in a Wedding Album (hard copy) for us... first pic is My Hubby (middle) and his two best buddies that stood up for us. then there is My Dad (passed away) walking me down the aisle/staircase we were married in my parents Livingroom in front of the fireplace. A pic of Peter and I looking very happy Lastly a pic of My parents(mom turq dress) and Hubbys parents (pink dress) This was all 34 years ago OMG!!!! and I was 19 and Peter was 24 yrs old. Our original wedding album consisted of snap shots from a polaroid camera, stuck into a Kmart picture album... the colours had deteriourated a lot over the years... so my DD snuck them out of the house and hired a proffessional to retouch them all and put them on a CD with music... now they'll be good forever.

Hello Gang; What a wonderful holiday this has been. I've been reading everyone's posts and it sounds as though we are Truly blessed this year. My DD and SIL2B came for 2 days, just left actually. It was a great visit. I love it when the kids come home. We had losts of good gifts for them, things I am sure they need or like... so that's all good. For Xmas dinner we 4 went into my Mom's Sr's Residance for their Turkey supper and Plum pudding for dessert. OMW it was fantastic, not to have to cook all that stuff and deal with all the leftovers. Actually the only leftovers are the Brownies, Squares, Bar cookies that I made that didnt' get eaten... I don't really have much of an appetite.. (yeah) I was able to finally get a medication switch on Dec 22nd. This new medication can be taken on an empty stomach before bed... which is great cause then I don't have heartburn after every meal!!!! I was worrying about the permanent damage that would cause to my stomach/esophogus etc... Only trouble is the sideeffect of this new med is Drowsiness... that's why you take it before bed. But, in thwe a.m. I have a terrible time waking up. I have been sleeping 12 hours straight!!! Now during the holidays, this is not a problem, but when I go back to work next wk....???? I don't know? Another topic: How is everyone going to deal with getting back on track after the holidays? I for one am going to re-commit to tracking my food/exercise and getting this last 30-40 lbs off.... I am setting a 10 lb goal for January. Love to all and blessings, Candice:wub:
