 That sounds Yummy. I wouldn't call that a bad choice, how often do you have anything fried? AND you gave away most of your meal + the French Fries.. KUdos for THAT:lol:

Karri, BiG HUGS to you girl.. that is really crumby news. Only slightly less crumby is that your principal will be keeping you on. Try to take is a step at a time.. Alot can happen between now and next Sept. Like Denise and Steph said there are places desperate for professionals with your skills.

Greek Yoghurt = Tzatziki is what it is called... Contains Yoghurt, cucumber, garlic(lots) it is YUMMY andis a very good dip substitute, or on BBQ Pork or CHicken in Pita wrap!!!! I just walked my dogs (or rather, they walked me) over to my friend Christines house... she is babysitting them this weekend while I am out of town.. I thought it would be good for her little girls to meet them before I drop them off tomorow. Well, I got home and was whooped so I got into my car to check the mileage. I walked(briskly) 3 miles!!!!! Holy Crap... so I am going to have a 200 cal snack....

POLL: for Lucky 7s trip to Canada
peaches9 replied to peaches9's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Hey that's o.k. Stephanie, I am just glad you are still considering it!!! YEAH wouldn't be the same without you there!! Scenic Caves and tree top walk... this is a really cool place. Its up on Blue Mountain, where they found an ancient INDIAN community. The Indians made their homes out of the natual Caves that were in the side of the mountain. Now it is a tourist site where you can hike around in these (small) caves.. Its really cool... then you finish with the Tree top walk which is a Suspension bridge (up at the tops of the trees) that you walk between two mtn peaks... Wonderful view, VERY safe... I've done it before... awesome.. Its an outdoor day and not too strenuous (like I said "I" have done it before LOL) -

peaches9 replied to A New Woman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
THis whole thread can be summed up in one word (and its a word you used) D R A M A somepeoples lives just can't be without it -
Oh JANET!!! Its been 7 days since I've started tracking accurately on SparkPeople.com.... tomorrow I might weigh myself and see how that went.. I'll use my Wii Weight.
-
Stephanie; You have permission to kick your "evil alter ego" to the curb!!! It's HER that puts those FOOD THOUGHTS in your head... Janet came up with the idea for me, and so far it is working great!!! My EVIL twin's name is Dianna and I talk BAD to her whenever I see a tempting thing. CALORIES/CARBS/FAT/PROTEIN1,327/185/46/55 Todays numbers.. no wii. I sent y'all my new recipe by email.. I made it tonight.. It was so good I had to leave the dishes and get out of the kitchen or I would have had a 2nd helping! It was that good. Also, I am finding I am a bit more hungry now that I've been doing the Wii. karri & Phyl.. thanks for the weekend eating solutions, you are right... I just need to plan on bringing SOMETHING really LEGAL that I like and just eat that.... of course I'll bring my own wine too.
-
O.k. I need some "food police" help here.. I have been ontrack with my food and exercise. BUT, I am going away for the weekend with DH to my GF house in London, 2 parties to attend... HOW am I going to stay on PLAN and eat properly... its always so hard when you are out of your SAFE environment. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Oh I know, I should just keep my foot on DIANNA's throat!!!!

CALORIES/CARBS/FAT/PROTEIN1,055/156/27/62 This is my TUESDAY food. I did Wii fit for 45 minutes this morning before work. Had a pretty good day at work...one of the staff members who "wasn't working out too well" came in and quit yesterday... big sigh of releif was heard all the way to Toronto!! Haven't heard any 'news' on DNephew, so hopefully everyting is calm there.

CALORIES/CARBS/FAT/PROTEIN1,275/201/53/59 1,000 - 1,100163 - 23632 - 5660 - 127 a little over goal calories for today... but that's o.k. its all accountable... If I get a ticket, I get a ticket TIred tonight, but at least I am done eating!!!! 8 p.m. here just got home from work and finished supper. DH had made pizza , so that's why my numbers are higher than I'd like... Had to rush to work this aft. after talking LD to Nephew... so I grabbed a 12 grain bagel & Cream cheese for lunch... threw away 1/2 the bread of the bagel, but geesh it still added up. But I am being HONEST and its listed here.. Hugs, Ladies & have a super night. Can:tongue_smilie:

i HEAR you babe; I remember BEFORE banding when I'd sit down and eat spoon for spoon with my Hubby. Now, when I eat off of my Dessert size plate, I look over at him and wonder HOW I did it??? But their metabolizm is so much differnet than ours... eh? Plus, they have MORE Muscle mass to draw on too. Just at rest MUSCLE burns more calories than FAT.. so it just dosn't seem fair!!! But it IS what it IS...

Hey that's not so bad! If you can adrink wine and STILL stick to you food plan that is great. As it turns out, I got way=layed from my Wii this morning. My BIL called from Mexico(he's driving on his way back to Canada now) and my nephew is in a mental health crisis... But DNephew 'dosn't think there is anything wrong with him'.... oh my gosh. So I spent an hour on the phone with him trying to convince him that he needs to get into see a mental health provider for an assessment... US (the family) are convinced that he is BiPolar but he dosn't see it. This kid is 29 yrs old and has screwed up everything in his life with DRUGS, Alcohol, failed marriage, lost his kids to his estranged wife.... blah, blah, blah... just imaging "days of our Lives" and you get the idea. I don't think I was successful, but I planted a seed anyways and gave him some resources to check out - if he's interested. I am not optomistic, but I told my BIL that I would try to get t hru to Nephew... The rest is in God's hands... Nephew is GOing to church these days, since rehab in the fall... but to talk to him "everything" is always somebody elses problem... it is very sad. But, I am NOT eating over it,.... It is not my problem - I can only be supportive if HE wants my help.. which he made clear he does NOT want. So Wii will have to wait until after work tonight...

Good MOrning Ladies! Breakfast is over and I am just getting ready to do my Wii for the day. We had company last night, and yest afternoon I went into town to (finally) visit my MOM.. I thinks its been 4 weeks since I was able to visit. If you remember they had a RotoVirus that hit the place and it was on quarantine... She was so glad to see me, and I was releived to see her too. Mom was sitting in the lounge when I arrived watching her GOLF tournaments.... Her nose has healed very well, and the graft that the surgeon did looks awesome... And he isn't even a plastics man... an Ear, Nose & Throat guy... he was so nice to my Mom too... So that's one less thing to worry about now. My sister comes back from Mexico this weekend... That'll be goood for my Mom too. NSV yesterday for me was I didn't PIG out on the way home from my Mom's and I didn't eat any COOKIES while there either.... That place is a huge trigger for me, but I just kept telling DIANNA to shut the @$#% up.... THen when I got home I made dinner for our guests, they left around 9:30 so I did my 30 minutes of Wii then... Gosh, the weight it had me at was horrible.. but that late in the day I am just ignoring it and I'll take this morings weight instead... Well I'd better get at it... then work this afternoon/evening. CBL

You lucky Grandma, she is just beautiful:thumbup:

NOw as far as the water with a meal... oh yea that is hard to get used to... but ya know... I don't even miss it anymore. Stephanie drinks a big glass of water PRIOR to her meal... then she is all hydrated before she starts to eat. At first I set a timer on the stove after super... so that after 45 minutes I could have my cup of tea... THen I drink tea all thru the evening while I quilt. p.s. you are not high maintenance, you are a newbie and newbies have lots of questions while they are learning... don't feel bad about that... that's why we all stickaround here...

Wow, this sounds like so much fun!!!
