Karri, what are you talking about a "reverse TT???" I get the breast reduction.... but WTF??? Totals for today MINUTESCALORIES BURNED Cycling 10-11.9 mph (bicycling, biking, bike riding) 50 392 CALORIESCARBSFATPROTEIN1,431 O.k. so since I last posted, I finished dinner, and then took my BIKE ride... and went for 50 minutes... Getting closer to home... I stopped at a friends house on the CHANCE that she might be home - they had just finished dinner so she invited me in... smelly and all... We sat and had TWO glasses of red wine and just chatted and got caught up on stuff... she's coming over in the a.m. to split off some perennials that are taking over MY yard... SO... I amended my calories as you can see 1431 for today, but 392 - biking.... so that's not too bad.... I really hadn't planned on having any booze today!!! OH the weekend, and FINALY we had a NICE weather day here... I was biking in just a t=shirt and light pants... very comfortable.

Karri, YEAH FIVE LBS GONE!!!:tongue2: perhaps those little Terrorist Carrots were good to you after all LOL. I'll join you on the next WL Challenge, just let me know the parameters.... Janet: don't be concerned about your Wii age, balance is the one that is tricky to improve... it takes practice... and its fun getting the Practice.. each day you'll get more control over your core muscles... I LOVE the YOGA stuff, I prefer that to the balance which I SUCK at too. LOVE the boxing and step aerobics.. I figured out a way to use my ROWING machine and have it count for Free form Step Aerobics... I just have to place th controller in my pocket while I row, and it counts it as a step... I feel SO clever one px left todya

Hey Ruby; since the American dollar is usually worth more than the Canadian dollar - why not get your HUBBY to pickit up while he is in Canada and bring it home to you? You can get it at Real Canadian Super Store, or Walmart Canada for $279 console + $99 for the Wii fit board...$378 Cdn. ( or $340 US$ ) What part of Canada was your Hubby from?

So, is anyone doing the "Wii Challenge"?? If so, how are you doing it? I know I can't do a lot of the stuff the rest of you are probably doing. I can do most of the sports stuff... bowling, golf, boxing, baseball.. I'm not so good at tennis. On the Wii Fit, I can do a couple of the yoga exercises, and I can probably do some walking. I was up to about 15 minutes on the advanced on that last fall.. the walk around the island. Then I do all the balance games. I can't do that snowboard thing where you have to turn the board sideways, though. And the ski jump... depends on how my knee is! Springing up is not always possible! I keep falling off the tightrope this week because of that. Can't make it all the way across. Phyl; I'll do the Wii with you and I think Stephanie will as well... I'll do it on NON biking days o.k.? I suck at the tight rope, so if you can do that one WHOO_HOO for you!!! Balance is as important as all the other excersises. So some you can do others you can't , others "I" can't. So lets just accumulate total time on Wii, and use that - what do you think? C

Yes, I wish I had gone with the SLEEVE, I have been so fed up with going back and forth for adj. fills.... it can be a pain. BUT, for those women who may still want a family the band is THE choice. Perhaps, when I'm older and have some yuk illness I'll be glad that the BAND is reversable... ya just never know! Scales down again this a.m.

But I AM the QUEEN of the balance exercises! I am so competitive.. I stayed on there for almost 30 minutes despite the pain! And THEN.... I walked down to the bus stop & back with all of them when it was time for Charly to go to kindergarten (afternoon session). So.... hope I can walk tomorrow morning when I wake up!! LOL -- If I can, I'm going to start using mine for more than just weighing again. I really enjoy those balance exercises and last summer I was able to do the walk around the island thing, too... Whhoa Phyl, you go girl!!! Perhaps you can SHow me how to do better with the TILT table... I usually only get to FIVE level. hee,hee... You are doing awesome, and smart thinking staying off the hoola hoops that IS hard on the knees, one of mine swole up like a bastard so I lay off it too.

You make me want a Wii - but since I don't have anyone to play with I don't know what the use would be - I know they have a new assesory (sp) that $60 looks fun - Well I may just have to break down and get one - and if I do then I would spend less time on the computer - I guess I could join the Lucky #7 Wii challenges.. Janet; you don't need anybody to play your wii with. Its awesome, cause you are always competing with YOURSELF and your last scores.. which it keeps track of for you.. also there is a personal trainer (guy or Gal) that you choose... and he/she talks you thru everything... its way cool. I just got back off my bike ride today. I went to the bank, the drug store, locked up my bike and went inside. Then came out and my key to my bike lock wouldn't work:cursing: ok. now I'm 2 km from home... I DON't want to WALK... so I go next door to a hardware store and borrow some WD40 I gave that asquirt and I was on my way again.. I did MINUTES;CALORIES BURNED Cycling 10-11.9 mph (bicycling, biking, bike riding) 42 ;329 I really am enjoying it. I take this little timer with me and set it for 60 minutes, I go as far away from home as I dare and then head back... I stopped at the BEACH and sat on a rock and drank my water... watched the herons, seagulls and Canada Geese.. waves were nice today and so clear that you could see all the way to Christian Island in the middle of the Bay... way cool.. I said a little Gratitude Prayer cause I just couldn't NOT thank HIM for this beautiful place I live... I can't wait to share it all with you. From my house its a kilometer walk to the beach #6... There are beaches starting downtown at Beach #1 and then there are 14 km of fresh water beach... its gonna be so much fun. SLEEPING PILLS: o.k. here's my 2cents.... I have a rx for Zopiclone 7.5 mg... they are blue and scored in the middle as I often break one in half and its plenty to do the trick! The reason I mention this is that they are NOT habit forming but Xanax is... so I'd watch it with THOSE pills ... they are an anti-anxiety pill ( any anxiety pill is of the benzodiazapine family and are all habit forming) whereas the Zopiclone is a 'hypnotic' also the other medication that Kari mentioned amitryptaline (sp?) is of the anti-depressant family, also not habit forming just very sedating... aka a sleeping remedy... I used to work for Canada's largest Drug Store chain and do there pharmacy audits... hence the knowledge of drugs hee, hee.

Ummm, don't know when the challenge ends... I want to keep at this.. I made a new recipe for tuna salad last night, I'll eat it for lunch. 2 cans tuna, 2 tbsp mayo, 1 tblsn sweet pickle relish, and 1 hard boiled egg grated... dosn't that sound interesting? I'll let you all know if I like it. I've been eating Lean Cuisine Spa meals this week at work, and protien bars... its been working pretty well for me .. cals yesterday were under 1000. Plus I did my biking... this a.m. the scales are down again!!! YEAH!! LINDA: I hate how you are having such troubles with your band... you have done SO WELL weight wise... it'd be a real shame to have the liquid all removed... maybe a tiny tweek of getting 1 cc taken out or a fraction thereof??? JANET: Yes, taking you doggies to a kennel is stressfull on EVRYONE... have you thought about professional pet sitters that come to your home? My doggies are ging to a GF's house for the 2 wks we are in FRANCE and she has a dog that gets along well with mine.. We often take all three to the dog park to "socialize"... you meet all kinds of other people there its fun, I grab a coffee at the drive thru and then we all just chat while the dogs play. not much on the exercise but its still fun. RUBY: hang in there you can do it, I've noticed that your weight and mine seem similar... WE CAN LOSE the rest... you gotta believe it. Phyl; I'm with you on the wii I am very competitive LOVE the boxing!! I think I have more aggression in me than I ever noticed cause I LOVE punching the crap out of that bag. :mad2:

Feels good, and I have to get home again right? SO more calories burned... It wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. KARRI, you are my vision of a HERO! wait a minute.... somebody check my calculations... it took me 29 minutes to travel 8 kilometers(5 miles).. so how fast was I riding? I'm dah this morning.... but 317 cals seems a bit high????

Good for you Karri, gyming it is a whole pile better for you than eating over it.. Kudos to you!!! You learned the magic lesson... Disappointment does not = overeating!!!! Karri, I am sorry you had such a poopy day! Jobs would be blissfull if it wasn't for co-workers eh??? Our new Office Mgr was pumping me for history today, so I filled her in on the office politics of the last couple years... now at least she understands why some people are the way they are... I am so lucky that I am able to keep out of it... just kinda watch from the sidelines and try not to let it bug me... but sometimes...oh it does... I exercised TWICE today! Now that's a record for me!! but I worked until 7:45 and when I came home I went for a bike ride too... I've done my penance for yesterdays wee confilgrations... hee,hee... think I'll be o.k. on the scale in the morning... just having tea now until I go to bed.. DH made supper tonight, so there were "chicken fingers" for me on the stove when I got in... I didn't eat it cause I'd already cooked myself a LEAN CUISINE at work... so now he's pissed.... cause he bothered to cook and I'm a sh1t for not eating it!!!! Oh I guess I' can take it tomorrow for lunch right?

GOOD attitude! :tongue_smilie:Does exercising help with the TOM cramps and symptoms? Step away from the Chocolate! Janet; as it turns out the rain has stopped and one of my px cancelled so I am going to go for a WALK during my break...
-
Ah Phyl; I totally know what you mean... People just want to LOAD you up... I know ith 'their' way of showing love... but they just don't get it. Yest. my GF Ginette put my steak on my plate... it was a striploin and at least 6 -7 oz in size... I said 'Uh, could you cut that in half for me? I won't be able to eat that much".... so she put half of it back for me... and I couldn't eat ALL of what was left only got about 3 oz. which was PLENTY.. I agree with you about eating off the salad plate... much more feasable. As it turns out I am up a tad this a.m. but I think it'll go with peeing today and lots of water... I was going to ride my bike to work today for exercise but its freeking raining:mad:
