Karla, Can't you put a CONDITIONAL offer in on that house??? You make an offer to purchase with the CONDITION that YOUR house sells.... that way your agent really has to MOVE their asses or BOTH deals fall thru.. THen if the SELLOR gets another offer on their house you have right of first refusal... My Hubby and I have used this tactic many times on our numerouse military moves... Just an Idea!

Huum, sounds like you'f love living in Victoria B.C. or perhaps Seattle....???? No snow in Victoria and the trees stay green all year long... but you don't get the beautiful FALL colours that we get back east.... always a trade=off eh????:rolleyes2:

I am here! I was out of town Yest. and today got home this afternoon... Then I get a phone call from my BOSS.. "IMPLORING" (her word not mine) me to give her another two weeks before I quit... 'It is just so unfair to have me leave without training the NEW person(s)'.. Yeah, now she is hiring 3 people to replace me(?) She is "fricking nuts" I don't want to spend 1 more day there, let alone the next 5 !!!! I am so pissed tonight that I've given myself a headache:cursing: Had to go to London to get checked out by my Gyni/Urologist yesterday... Bad snow storm so stayed overnight with friends... took the doggies with us... so that was an adventure! Everything a.O.k. down 'south'... dont' have to go back unless I have new issues... BUT, GOOD NEWS.... I went to the GYM again today with my Gym buddy Michelle!!!! I did 15 mins on the eliptical, 20 mins on the treadmill 3.5% incline, then LEG weights... then recumbent BIKE for another 15 mins....:w00t: Gotta stop stressing about WORK though, and stop eating JUNK.... but at least I am working out at the gym and walking my puppy... so I'm half ways being good.:rolleyes2:

Oh my gosh, Bridget is just too cute for words. She is already GROWING, this week looks more like a DOG than a puppy... SHe is getting muscular with all the in the woods walking (running) she's doing with TWIG and DH... Weird, she's eating her poop this week, anybody got any ideas about that behaviour??? Less accidents since DH has been home from Montreal... SHe just ADORES him... No more CHANNELING this week ah,ha,ha... but I feel really good about my decision to leave my employ.... better and better each day.:thumbup: Why don't we keep on brainstorming re sewlutions until I see you in the SPRING.. Rember Dh and I are driving RV across the northern states??? yeah! Officially only 5 more working days.... then I'm retired!! Whoo0hhoo Phyl, your new hobby is cool, I love the bracelets and Santa Earrings... you are so tallented.... Good for you getting into that pool... I actually WENT to the gym tonight after work with my GF Michelle.... We both started off on the ELipital trainer... me I didn't wwwant to but MICHELLE insisted!!! ack! So I did 10 mins. and then went onto the treadmill w/ incline for 15 mins. then I did weights... Legs, Arms An hour all tolled... so that's a good start I ghootta tell you that typing with a PUP on my lap is a hinderance!! Oh and guess what SHE did today/ While at the gym I didn't want to leave her loose in the house. SO i puy her in a dog crate(metal) with a bone and her fluffy bed. LOCKED the cge door. and when I got home who was at the front door to greet me?? You guessed it the PUP... I don't know for the life of me how she did it... But its really funny as we used to have a dog (Meaghan's dog at 8yrs old) Samantha who used to get out of her dog crate too... Oh MY GOODNESS :thumbup: Tomorrow off to QUILT of the month club class, my block is NOT done so I'll have to pay$$$ SH!T... oh well, I did get my pillowcases for the Sick Kids Hospital in T.O. done though, so I feel good ab out that... Our Quilt club volunteered to make `100 pillowcases for Boys and GIrls who are sick having Chemo etc... Then we're off to London for my GYNY appt. Annual ck... no worries there... Then we are stayin over night with GF and her 2 Jack Russells... should be fodder for some laughs, I'll keep you posted...:scared2: DH is out at BAND Practice tonight, and I've been packing up stuff for the trip tomorrow. INCLUDING motion sickness meds for the PUP... You;ll remember that she puked all over me last 2 1/2 hour car ride... Kari, glad your family gettogether went so well, I know how much you love those Grandbabies:thumbup: Janet; I'm not too worried about the loss of $$$'s I have a bit stashed away right now, so I'll just be fruggle... Karla, you didn't do anything wrong... Principles CAVE in to what Parents complain about... they are ALL about SMOOTHING things over... and you get the crap. Sorry your trip is postponed! WE are in for crummy weather too... but actually we've been really lucky for all of FALL we've had fantastic weather..Just starting to get really cold this week. ANd forecast is for ICE storms for the next 2 days.... Stay in the blankies, its nice to snuggle up... I get into my JAMMIES as soon as I get home from work:w00t: Did some more sewing tonight to keep my MIND occupied... So 2 more Christmas Pillow cases for gifts.... Yeah... I am getting there...:thumbup:

Karla, I always KNOW that you speak from a position of LOVE.. That's cool. I have a healthy sckepticism of the CHANNELING, my GF invited me to go and it was interesting. And if nothing else I left there 'thinking' and feeling more positive mentally that I have in a couple of weeks.. so that is a good thing... I do need to be happy and I now know what that takes. THe money thing was just a Pass the Hat donation... I didn't have any problem with that... hey Ministers and Priests get money from their parisioners... everybodys got to eat right??? Well, she came over....late... when she rang the doorbell I was sitting on the can trying to >>>> you know!!! Tummy had been gurgling all day and no product UGH! Anyways, I digress.... she arrived and I suggested we start with a HUG and (hopefully) end with a HUG.... So I told her I'd Try to be more 'soft spoken' around her... and that we would agree to FACE issues on a DAILY basis, not go running to gossip with other behind my back.... but to face things head on, before ISSUES pile up and all she can do is cry! I told her that Her crying and being the Victim was a form of manipulation... and that I will not fall for it.... SHe has to use her WORDS to confront me if the need arrises... we could always get together for CLEARING THE AIR COFFEE"s once a week or by-weekly if needed... I asked her if I reminded her of SOMEONE in her past life that had hurt her... cause I wonder where all her baggage comes from.... DIfferent communication styles on her part and MINE... I come across brusk, and hurried ... she feels threatened by this (?) ya whatever..... I told her that I was tired of always hearing excuses and negativity... and we agreed on signals to use on ea other if we are getting out of hand and startign to piss ea other off.... So, we'll see... oh yeah, my BOSS calls this afternoon (before L arrives) to tell me that "L" is very nervouse about confronting me.... that the meeting is at MY house, MY turf and THIS threatens her... Oh my GOSH!!!! So MY boss says, "oh, let me know how it goes o.k.??" Gutless wonder, SHE should have come to my house too if she is so DARN concerned!! Now for MONTHS I have been making this QUILT for "L"... although she's never seen it... I pulled it out and SHOWED it to her today ( its allmost finished).... I said to her " L, how do you suppose I could do stitch after stitch on this quilt , day after day, month after month, and HATE her like she thinks I do?""""" HOpefully that last question sinks into her head this weekend> that's about it.... I went out with another (FORMER COworker of the clinic) friend tonight to hear a CHANNELING.... wow, was that interesting... Don't know if I COMPLETEly buy into it yet... THis lady ( 50ish) goes into a TRANCE and wakes up talkking like an old INDIAN from the NEtherworlds... very convincing...it went on for 2 hours... but then I had to get up and pee!!!! All that coffee with "L".... Well, that's my exciting DAY off!!! LOL

well sent the letter and "L" came over this aft for COFFEE and BROWNIES.... I told her I tasted teh brownies before she came,.... so she could relax!!!! Just a bit of HUMOR :wink2: It went o.k. but she still didn't feel like talking much, so I made up most of it... I kept trying to get her back to the topic of sharing FEELINGS... she is just not confident enough to do that... WEll, I did MY part.... can't do all the work myself... so we'll see what next week brings.:biggrin:
