I had a hot cocoa/coffee mix a hour ago and it was fine.. Couldn't gag down oatmeal for breaky either... guess I'm having a TIGHT TIGHT Day... Perhaps I'll try Soup later on. I put Baked Beans and Meatballs in the Crock pot for dinner tonight. I've bee trying to incorporate more legumes and lentils into my diet..

That's o.k. I crept up to 185!!! over the freeking holidays, remember back into Sept 09, I had gotten down to 172 HOLY SHIT.... 13 lbs.... retarded!!! But this a.m. I was 182 so its coming, I /WE just gotta keep at it... I liked what you said... there is no recovery without relapse So TRUE! so it is the beginning of a NEW decade.. holy, I hadn't thought about it that way before... Can you imagine 10 years from now, we will all have had our TUMMY TUCKS by then, our ARM LIFTS, our LEG LIFTS... maybe even a facelift???? Just think how awesome WE WILL ALL BE... we are getting there together... Our friendship will be that much stronger.... who knows maybe I'll move to the U.S. by then( only in the winter of course)... you just never know what the future holds... Hey, if we're gonna dream, lets dream B I G all I know is that I love all you gals, more than you know.... I look forward to getting onto the site every day and seeing what everyone is up to... The NETTI pot is No gimmick.... they have used it in INDIA for centuries!!! You go girl. I've been using one for 3 years, now I got my DH using it, and my DSIL.... No more sinus issues for me!!!!

Oh Janet, I am so sorry to hear that news.. aweful shock for everyone! Dentist went fine, I am now all SMILES again!! heehee THis is the 3rd of 4 teeth that my Canadian Dentist has had to reglue from MEXICO Teeth... now its only 55 dollars to get it reglued and an inconvenience but I still saved over $2k by getting them in Mexico, so I still don['t regret it. Phyl; Earl is making wise changes, good for him... electric cig? wow, thats a new one on me.... I wonder if they are avail. in Cda??? Goodaye Ladies! Oh I am late gettin on here. Bridget went for anothe booster shot today... so far so good. Peter just went to pick her up. Peter went to the bank, did some errands and came home with A new set of sheets for our KING bed... now we don't NEED any sheets, I already have 2 sets!!!! but it was such a deal!!! Then he says I got you another present!! A meat marinator syringe thingy... ya, really NEED that too. Food yest and today good, shake for bready, lamb curry/rice for lunch. chicken something for dinner... I went to the gym this a.m. with my buddy and I did 20 Mins of Biking, 20 mins of treadmill/incline but NOjogging today( hee,hee thanks Janet) I did havea session with the personal trainer to set me up on all the equipment, so no worries there.. I did cardio then my UPPER BOdy workout only, lots of stretching but I thought I'd save my LEGS workout for another day... so far my Knees' been good today. I've got my brace on now and I think I'll start wearing it all the time to the gym... Better safe than sorry... so I'll look like a geek.. I don't care, I'm not going there to FETCH anybody. I sat down on the bike today and a guy(my age) next to me starts up a conversation... I just put my earplugs in and Smiled (get lost) Then I went and filled up the car with gas, self pump Janet!! and its -13Celcius here... cold as a witches t!!! you get the idea.LOL Answer: -13 ºC = 8.6 ºF Karla, I am going to do some serious sewing this aft and evening... I am doing the quilt as you go BLUE/YELLOW quilt... it will be done in 3 mos... I can hardly beleive it.. although I am still behind in my blocks... Peter gave me a box full of Toille fat quarters for Xmas... kinda dull and drab colours (don't know WHAT he was thinking?) any ideas of what I could do with it???? Gosh, more bad news... some DEAR friends of ours (like for 20 yrs) are spliting up. Now I am sure it has something to do with his TEMPER but no details as yet... She wants to go on a trip with me this winter , a girly gettaway.... I feel so bad for her. They own a FARM in eastern Ontario, she has horses its a beautiful home that THEY custom built on this fabulous property.. I just don't get it... no children involved so that;s ablessing.

Last night while sitting EMAILING my 'knee' went back to normal.... I went up the stairs with no pain at all... all evening it was o.k. woke up this a.m. and "KNEE" is still pain free. So I am gong to the gym at 11 with Michelle, but I am taking it easy on the knee. Its a partially torn meniscus, and I think everynow and then the torn off peice travels inside my knee and when it gets STUCK somewhere it swells and hurts like a bastard... I should get it looked at by a orthoman... Tripe soup! OMG... no thanks, keep the recipe yikes... I used to babysit a BOuvier Dog when I was a teenager and those people always kept TRIPE in the pop fridge for the dog.... YUK ..needless to say I didn't do any snacking when I was babysitting there... even the pop cans smelled of it....:biggrin: GROSS

Well, its sure all quiet here... Had our 2nd Xmas last night in T.O. with DD and DsiL + all his family. It was great fun, DSIL's mother brought her photo album with the only baby phot0s of Bryan that survived her exodus from S.Vietnam after the war. Oh they were just precious... I am getting along with her well. She brought me a HUGE bottle of perfume and I was embarrased cause all I brought her was a box of chocolates (I'm mrs. Gump) We all played Rock BAND and it was really funny. DInner was rare Prime RIB( my fav.) and I brought my SWISS potatoes, Bry made stir fryed veggies, I made the gravy, and for appetizers Bryan(DSIL) made Vietnamese FRESH Rolls with shrimp in them with a peanut dipping sauce.. TO DIE FOR!!! Today, we drove back into the city to attend the Visitation for my GF hubby that passed away last week. Ah it was so sad... he looked gastly in the coffin... I hate that part about funerals.... But Dar was really glad we made the effort to be there, so I am really glad we went.. ... there but for the Grace of God, I know I take my sweetie for granted at times, but he gets extra hugs and lovin today! Karla; I am glad you had a good visit with your girls... have a relaxng couple of days before school starts anew. Phyl: Hope your feeling better about DSon today... try not to let it get you down. I had forgotten that he was adopted, how old was he when you got him? Janet: Good for you throwing out the fudge!!! I have to make a donation to the local FOOD BANK tomorrow... I'm taking all the unused packages of baking things... you know the tiny brown things that are so sweet? I am sure someone else will appreciate the goodies that I no longer want to wear on my ass!!! I have been so tight, and I know its because of the weight gain, more importantly the amount around my stomach... this is causing my band to be tight... So a few days of PROTIEN only and lots of shakes should get me back on track. Today I've eaten 2 eggs, 1 ww toast, tea/milk, insides of a pulled pork sandwich(threw away the bun) and now I'm on TEA again....I only have to hang in for 4 more hours....:biggrin: Oh yeah, forgot to mention that MY KNEE went out on me last night... perhaps too much at the gym with the weights....argh Limping everywhere today, we'll wait a couple of days to see if it settles down.. If not then Ill have to go visit the doctor agian...

Dear Phyl; Your son has a warped sense of entitlement... He feels that the world has done him wrong, and that its Your responsibility to provide for him... its not your job to bail him out of every crisis. yEAH, i just got back from the gym...I lifted 10,300 lbs today....yeah that's right... I double checked the FITLINX cause I thought that HAD to be wrong... I also did 15 mins on the treadmill... jogged for 4 mins of it... Thanks for the readings on the puppy poop issue! I'll read them all :smile: Swedish Potatoes: Boil 8- 10 large potatoes until soft. 15-20 mins. Drain, and MASH them well, then I add: 1 small cont. of Garlic'herb Cream cheese 1 small cont. of Sour Cream 1 bunch chopped Green onions a tad of butter if you need it... 2 eggs, beaten Mash again WELL, now the heat from the potatoes COOKS the eggs so don't worry about that. then I took Flavored croutons, crushed them and sprinkled the crumbs on top... now this is where you can make ahead and cover it in foil and FREEZE for up to a month... then bake it thawed for 30 -45 mins.. at 350 until warmed thru well.. Delicious!!! Mash

Wow, Janet; that looks like a HUGE haul of gifts there in that picture! MIchelle came to pick me up for the gym today... 4:30 ish... got to the YMCA and the gal on the front desk says, "we're closing at 5!" oh drat! So off to Timmies we go for a coffee and excersise our JAWS... We're going to try again in the morning 10:30ish... then I'm off to T.O. in the afternoon for my daughters HOLIDAY meal. I made Swedish Potatoes so I'll bring that... I think Bryan is cooking Prime Rib... at least I HOPE so.... Getting my HEAD ready to give up the junk .... a few days away. Bridget is being so good, did I tell you that she RINGS the door chimes when she wants out to go poop and pee??? It is just the cutest! Its warmed up a bit here today, so she's "asked" to go out 3 times in the last hour.... I think she's found 'treats' under the snow.... hummm just my guess.. Hey, does anyone out there know how to stop your pup from eating their own poop?????

Boxing Day... Peter went out and did the shopping.. Christmas is taken down now, and I'm back tot he gym in a couple of hours. Bad heartburn today....and a stiff neck Tomorrow we're off to Toronto for the KIDS family holiday dinner... that will be fun... then its New Years and back to serious FOOD JOURNALING!!!
