Hi Janet; Yup I am still up.... cals final 989!! I am sitting here eating a bowl of cheerios/skim milk... I tried NOT to eat anything after supper, but mY stomach was EMPTY and Growling bad.... and I had cals left so its cheerios!!!! Yeah, I watched part of Obamas speech and then more coverage on Anderson Cooper CNN... darn I dont' get FOX... but Obama was covered on CTV (cdn station) and also BBC (Briton) so it was very important to everyone... WIND farms in S. Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming and Montana... its just GOTTA happen... when driving across I only saw Wind Farms in Minnesotta, nothing in Wisconsin either..// And I learned tonight that the US. has TONS of Natural Gas... who knew? So if all the car companys switch fuel's over to Nat. Gas... you won't even need the DRILLED oil, plus Kick those Arabs to the CURB as well.... If I was to guess. I`d say that Earl is missing a `purpose`¨ when men have dedicated so many years to their careers they NEED something to retire to.... for me its Peter`s many bands.... drives me nuts but HE loves it. For sure he sounds depressed and moody. You don`t have to be his punching bag(figuratively speeking) and you don`t have to take it. I think you did the best coping by remaining out of the house and entertaining yourself otherwise, let him process and simmer down. What about a Men`s club? There must be Seniors clubs around to enjoy... Card clubs? He could do volunteer work at the Food BANK ONCE A WEEK... something where he gets out WITHOUT you... You need a break!!! Or you`ll never make it to 47 years... did you hear about the GORE`s??? they were like married forever ...now divorcing. Get your dog, he will be therapy for the both of you! Personnaly I don`t like dogs that I have to trim... but that`s just me...I love my smooth coated Jack Russells... but they are high energy...hummmm that wouild give Earl something to do.... chase after a JR puppy... they fit nice in the van too. Plus you can teach them many tricks... something else for EARL to occupy himself with.. Good luck in whatever you decide, and no you can`t bury him under an ant hill... Yes, they do make lighter ones... only the home where my Mom lives dosn`t have a lite one!! PLUS I`ve messed up my right shoulder (machine quilting a Queen) and its very sore... If I take my celebrex everyday, the pain is tolerable... but lately my tummy`s not been feeling up to par... so »I`ve laid off the anti-inflamatory... tyl just dosn`t cut it....

OH dEAR Phyl; whats up hon? Is the hunger getting to you? How is your tummy feeling? Today, was o.k.- took my Mom to her skin guy... Cyro gassed off 5-6 cancer spots on her face, head and leg... its all good. He wants to re=check her in 6 mos. the one on her LEG is quite big and it might need another zap. Man, she is getting weak though... she can't even walk from the car to the door of the office bldg(with her walker) ... then there was this long hallway to the elevator. (somebodys poor planning) dah, if someone needs an elevator PUT IT NEAR THE FRONT DOOR!!! Wheel chair is too heavy for me to lift in and out of my car... so we go with the walker. anyways, pulled at my sore shoulder with all the lugging in and out of cars, walkers, chairs etc... poor ol' doll. God getting old is NOT for WIMPS!!! 2 other ladies at her Sr's rez died last week... Had a coffee with her afterwards and I did NOT have a cookie or icecream or anything!!!! Stuck to my food plan and its posted above.

Ha,ha,ha... Janet You are right, Stephanie will NOT let her bale Hope everyone's day goes well. Mine is starting out good... have to take Mom to an appt today, so stealing myself up for 'that'... Having a Pro shake right now with GREENS, and FLAX MEAL in it... yummy, I got that banana flavored pro shake stuff at GNC ... quite good. And I am packing my Protien bar (30 g) and some beef Jerky in my purse... so I only have to stop and buy a coffee... that's it. Don't know what I am having for supper yet, but it will be healthy, even if I have to stop at the grocers and pick up already Cooked chicken. Been reading some OA literature(again) this a.m. I had a terrible NIghtmare last night... that I got up and ate JUNK in the middle of the night! (I never wake up) When I awoke, I had this feeling of doom and shame, like I had actually EATEN it... although yest. was a GOOD day, food wise... didn't go full blown crazy and was accountable. I am so tired of living with the guilt(of eating stupid stuff) and the shame( of sneaking around to do it, or hiding food the shame of wasting my $16k) I am an addict. No question... I have got to keep sugar and bingefoods away from myself. Since you guys have known me. I've been on again /off again... its c r a z y ... so I am going to suck it up and go back to OA meetings... I've been avoiding it, thinking "I can do it by myself?" I have let you all down, in your support of me. Well, how's that been working for you Candice? Not too freeking well. So I am turning my problem over to God, my Higher Power... This one thing I have trouble with though... when there are so many people in this world suffering, I mean really suffering... why would God turn his resources to me and my Eating disease... there are so many more WORTHIER causes.. Karla, you HAVE to come in JULY!!!! The other girls are DYING to meet you~~~ and you NEED A VACATION GIRL... forget the stuff in the yard for now, you can always do it AFTER you get back from Seattle. Why board the furries, can't ELyse watch them for 5 days??? That girl owes you big time. What about one of the other daughters? Sunday activities: I went for a drive today to visit an old friend. I haven't seen her since the Fall as she usually goes to FLA for the winter... when I didn't hear from her I just assumed she was gone south... NOT! She had a falling out with her MOM (80yrs) and did NOT want to spend another winter 'looking after' the old folks... I felt bad cause I never called her, but I got an invitation to her Daughter's wedding and shower... so we'll see more of each other. Anyways, she said how good I looked and was happy I was keeping my weight off... (ugh!) So i decided TODAY I was not going to over do it with the food. I don't know WHY it takes somebody else's comments to always make me SEE reality... frig I have wasted too much time screwing around with my last 30 lbs.... But, I realize I am always on again/off again. SO I am not making any predictions or goals... I'm just gonna attack it one day at a time... I can't get ahead of myself... I don't want any more self=imposed guilt... I have done this to myself, and it will take myself to get out of it. Now I am goinng to go back and read everyone's posts for today.... A dremel tool is a whirling sandpaper thingy... have you ever been to an Acrylic nail place??? They use them to grind down your nails and shape the acrylic ones... same machine... Peter's had it out in his "shop" for YEARS!!! and never even used it. Then I bought this Doggy groomer thingy 'PediPaws" (on TV) that was a battery operated Dremel tool really... but it was not as good as the electric one( a guys tool) I love the sound of your coleslaw recipe YUMMMMM I made pumpkin Pie custard cups today. Its a great DIET snack, eggs, Milk, Pumpkin, spices and Splenda... then I got heartburn from it!!! WTF... I can eat junk and my tummy dosn't hurt, but when I ate the Pumpkin Custard... got an acid stomach... so I popped a Gaviscon and a Prilosec... feels a bit better now. 198 - you rock girl... you are doing so well, without the fill too. I am so proud of you!!!! Yes, I am sure you could walk the 3 miles now.. just pace yourself and stop for Water along the way. You can do it. Some folks stopped by today to look at the van... gosh I'll hate to see it go... Busy week coming up. Mon I take my Mom to her dermatoligist appt. for her skin cancer spots. Wed I take her to an oral surgeon for an extraction. Thursday is my Lasik surgery, then overnight in T.O. and recheck of the eyes Friday then home.... so If I am not on LBT that will be why. Hi Girls; Back home now... after the camp up north. It was nice to get home! Clipped the doggies nails... well not really clipped, I used a Drummel Tool from Peter`s shop on them... really did a nice job, aND I didn`t nick anyones cuticle... I always feel so bad when I make one of them bleed... Phyl, this is something that you`ll learn to do weekly for your PUP... or else take it out to a groomers... ha,ha,ha but if Earl is like Peter he won`t want to spend the $10 that it costs... Also, consider the coat of the dog...non shedders need trimming every 6 wks or so... and it`s pricey....hummm lots to think about. But I know you`ll end up with a TREASURE of a PUP... just keep on looking! Karla: Congrats on being done with SCHOOL for a couple months! Yippee!!!! Yowzii!!! FREE AT LAST!! Hi gang; Im here sitting at the local Library in Temagami, Ont. near my sisters place. Library computer is MUCH faster than her dial up at home... Now Breaky today: Oatmeal, 1 slice toast, coffee Lunch: 1 egg roll, 1 chicken wing, 1/4 cup rice and one small bowl of Icecream. ( I know, slap,,, no more of that) Dinner: Moose burgers, salad, wine & Coffee!! SF syrup. Phyl, thanks for picking me up on the 30th. that'll be great!!! Can't wait to see you and Earl. You are doing SENSATIONAL with your food and journaling... you are gonna do fine with the temporary unfil. Karla & Janet: Thanks for the Ass whoopping, I needed it and it was funny! I wasnt' staying away on purpose, just busy weekend with kids ... oh yeah, and the RV deal that was to close on the weekend??? Well the Buyers flew allt he way from Manitoba to buy the van, didn't like it and left.... meanwhile I have turned down prospective buyers this week (2) who still wanted to see it... OR... you guys could come to Canada again, and this time I'll take you up to Northern Ontario... yu can see the Northern Lights (Aurora borealis), bears, swimming w/ Polar bears(train ride involved) all kinds of cool stuff... Hiking in VIRGIN forests... fishing.. Janet can cook ALL the fish for US... ha,ha,ha... Bridget, Twig and Morgan(Krystals dog) are all getting along just fine. I threatened TWIG with his life!!!! Karla, get a PURPLE HUCHERA... its in the Coral Bell family, LOVES the shade and does well in acidic soil... I have at least a dozen of them in my yard.. and they are beautiful
