Phyl, She is so cute... Zoey, great name!!! I love it:tt1: Yeah, I knew Earl would do a meltdown when push came to shove... Speaking of SHOVE... we had an earthquake here yest. afternoon at 1:41 p.m.!!!!! It was a 5.0 on the riktor scale.... total surprise for Ontarians, we havn`t had a ``bump`in over 5 years and then it was really small...< PLUS' then last evening there was a HUGE tornado that swept thru the town of MIDLAND, about 30 miles from us...Holy crap, the power and gas have been shut off for the entire town all night long and still there is no power. No one died but there are many injuries because of the twister... one car dealership lost 3/4 of its car inventory... windsheilds blew out of the cars, some tossed about. Homes were flattened... it is a real disaster.. the Red Cross is on the ground and helping to feed people...its just aweful! -

Wow Janet, you took Kaitlyn to the gym with you.... that is such a good example you are setting for her... she will remember her whole life this special time she spent with her LaLa!!! You are a good Grammy!!!! Food today: Coffee/milk for breaky Lunch: Ham and Split Pea Soup with whole wheat crackers. It was so damn good that I ate it too fast and PB`d then had to start all over again... but ummmm so good.< Dinner: ...? ....Peter is taking me out for supper (?) Apparently yest. a.m. we went to see our financial advisor... and during our chat I said something off-hand (I don`t even remember) about "oh we can afford to go out for supper now???!!!" All I remember is telling the F.A. that I spent some of our retirement money getting Lasik surgery:biggrin: I guess Peter must have been embarrased cause when I got up this a.m. I had an invitation:thumbup: Is he ever gonna pay:thumbup: -

Yes, Phyl... He IS a good man.... that how come you can put up with his shit the rest of the time:lol: Today, well.... first I had to take my MOM for her dental appt. got two molars extracted... but when I left her she was doing just fine. I just got off the phone with her and she is o.k. no pain, and looking forward to SUPPER!!!! Omword. Then after I dropped MOM off I went and bought Roses for my GF Sally, the one that took me to T.O. last week for my surgery.. Well, I arrive at her house and she's not answering the door???? I can hear her dog barking and all the windows are open, so I LAYED on the buzzer some more.. finally Sally opens the door and I give her her flowers... and she's crying!!! and not from the flowers... seems she's been crying for 2 days... husband troubles, Inlaw troubles (he dosn't stick up for her with his family) and she want's to LEAVE him... OMGOD!!!! I was really glad that I had stopped by, to comfort her.. not that I really can... she's got to make up her own mind about her situation... But, being alone at 56???? Yikes, and I know her HUBBY loves her... its just that with HIS family, he needs to GROW A PAIR and stick up for her.... So I guess this was my GOOD DEED day... oh my.... Going to go have some supper now... CBL Love you all, C:blush: -

Hi guys, Great weather day here !!! Awesome sunny and warm. My GF called and wanted to look at waterfront prop. here in the Beach... so we piled into her Seabring Convertable and bombed all over the beach looking at houses... Oh my, I don`t know what she is getting into... big bucks$$$ but I couldn`t reason with her.... she is hell bent on being on the River or the Big Beach on the Bay... she thinks she`s rich and can afford it, but I don`t know:glare: Anyways, it was fun to see all theplaces listed. Food today: cerealéskim milk, protien bar 150 cals, Hotdog w/cheese/ bacon, thru away most of the HD bun... then just now had split pea/ham soup with Strawberries n/dip... I made this great fruit dip recipe.... 1 small cont. lite or ff Cream cheese, softened... 2 little FF SF Yogurts... a little splenda or Carmel SF syrup...YUMLMMMMMMMY:tt1: So that`s my food so far, 7:30 p.m. -

Smart girl Karla; YOu are getting it!!! Just try to remember that for every ACTION there is a REACTION... so when you make a remark about the boyfriend/dad SHE will react to it... and you may not like the results... continue to take a deep breath and accept that everything happens for a reason... she may be the type of girl that has to learn things the hard way... and YOU can`t save her from that. Ya, up early... we had a dinner guest last night and she had to travel early this a.m. Peter (Earl) got up at 6:30 to make her breaklfast for the road...«I slept until 7`30... I always say my Goodbyes in the evening, so I dont`have to get up(arn`t I a lazy nelly???)) This gal used to work for Peter and we have known she and her Hubby for many years. SUPER people, I really like her DH but unfortunately he couldn`t make the trip this time... Food Yest: CALORIES/CARBS/FAT/PROTEIN1,332/105/14/64 pretty good considering all the booze «I had (and counted too) weigh in this morning......182.6 -

Dosn`t sound like you PB`d the entire pouches contents to me. I don`t go with the Papaya cure.... I just PB one or twice till its all up and then I feel INSTANT releif from the pain. My usual then is a nice hot cup of tea/milk/swewetner to calm everything down and then I go back and retry eating. I can usually finish my meal no problem.. Some girls though switch the meal then to a protien drink for THAT meal and resume eating reg. next meal... Sometimes you gotta try a few methods to see what works best for you. Whats on the aagenda for today? -

Hi GLoria; so sorry to hear that you`ve had so much trouble...to your questions when the band is working you can only eat about 1 - 1& 1/2 cups food in total... thats the volume thing... I eat a pro bar for breaky most days... but some mornings I can only get in 1/2 at a time... then full... betwwen meals i drink teaéskim milk, coffeeéskim milk, crystal lite. then lunch 1 slice rye toast, with a slab of ham on it folded over.2.5 or 3 oz of meat... i am then full. now for dinner I might have 3 oz steak, 1/2 cup corn, 1/2 cup sauteed onion in EVOO... Popcorn for a snack in the even. this will all total approx 1000 cals or sometimes less If I have chicken/fish. Don`t know why your band didn`t work... was it too tight??? How big a band was inserted, and how many fills (how much ) did you have?.. Perhaps gastric sleeve would be a better option for you... What is your BMI and what is your WL goal? -

HELLO-O-O0..... i am back from Toronto. EYES are fine.... actually... its freeking awesome! Had my surg about 2 p.m. THurs. 2 hours of preliminary examinations( a repeat of 2 weeks ago consult appt, just to be SURE) then paperwork, with all the %`s of problems ya,ya,da,da... Then comes the hair net... seriously? you betcha... the worst part was when they scotch tape your eyelids open... everythng was FROZEN and didn`t feel a thing, its just that having my eyelids stuck open was kinda weird... then the laser the cornea... less than a minute on each eye... and I could smell the burning tissue.... yuk! But again that smell only lasted seconds... it was just not what I was expecting.... Afterwards, ta-da.... you can see.... I mean REALLY see, across the exam room from me I could see the 2 holes in the electrical outlet ...!!!!! from across the room... then this a.m. when I awoke... I could see what direction the Screws were in , in the wall socket.... WOWZA... every day for the next week things should to continue to be clearer and clearer... right now I am on the computer with NO glasses.... Now the Dr. said I may still need 1.0 readers for quilting but that`s it... I went to the grocery store and I can read nutrician labels... whoo-hoo... no readers . So it was a success...today, tomorrow I am on LIGHT duties... no long dist. driving, fro 72 hours.... cant swim underwater for 30 days... ya that`s a Real hardship - NOT!!! Phyl, I am so sorry that you are still feeling down... band empty, no doggie yet, Earl comments... it can get to you for sure... HUGS from me!!!< Janet: I did good on my food yest....; CALORIES;CARBS;FAT;PROTEIN1,212;82;35;88 . pretty good eh??? Linda: I am fine, everything went well, I am sure in PART to your loving prayers to the Good Lord... I was in good hands. ah.Karla; I did partake of 3 glasses of wine last night after supper.... my eyes were starting by the to be a bit irritated... so I put in my drops and took 2 tyl.. and had some Medicial WINE....lol... You did well with your food choices at `school` its hard when the menu is out of your control eh??? Love to all, C -

Oh Denise: I am so sorry for your loss. Our Furry Friends leave big holes in our hearts when they pass. I know how you feel as I lost my "woody" last Oct. after 15 wonderful, loving years... The Rainbow Bridge - - Author Unknown There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the "Rainbow Bridge" because of it's many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when all those pets you have loved suddenly stop playing and look into the distance. Their bright eyes are intent, their eager bodies quiver. Suddenly they begin to run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friends meet, you take them in your arms and embrace in a joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved heads and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pets, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together. Never again to be separated.
