Hi Ladies; whirlwind day today... flying trip to the quilt store, then picked up another pair of those $10 black jeans!! Then put STEW on for tomorrows dinner. Linda: So glad Andy`s surg is done... and that his pain is managed. When is Mel`s biopsy scheduled... we are praying for him!!! Worn out from the grandkids detail... ah, but a GOOD worn out eh? Janet: I gota get back to my exercise schedule, end of summer plans waylayed that... Gig tomorrow night, so exciyted!!! Karla; Hugs on the food issues, I cannot do yogurt 3 yrs post op... it just kills me.... yet, I can eat 1/2 of a Tim,s Breakfast Egg/Bacon Sandwich on a biscuit???? HUH??? but 1/2 is only 200 cals so thats o.k. with me:w00t: As requested interior pix of the RV

Great day today. Music rehersal this a.m. and then went shopping at Walmart this aft. bouhgt som,e BLACK denim jeans for $10!!!!! And they fit good. whoo-hoo Then made supper, beef, ww pasta, tomatoes... one pot wonder!!! Then I just got off the phone with my GF from St. Mary`s. they are coming down FRIDay and staying over night on their way to a cottage.. GOSH she goes on and on forever on the phone!!!! Gosh, we wont have anything left to talk about when she gets here...

Geez Janet, you do get up early! Just waiting for John to show up for rehersal. I set my alarm this a.m. for 8 oclock, got up washed, brushed teeth put on my bra and undies and then .....went back to bed for 30 mins... hee,hee,hee... guess that qualifies me as a Napper!! Phyl, hope you are feeling better today! Enjoy the scenery along your route...(so jealous) Kiss Earl for me! Karla; wow, your teacher friend must be devastated with that news. Makes you count your blessings right? You`ll get on the computer tonight and get all caught up.

O. K. I am back... we were away for a few days, down in London and Sarnia to look at /BUY another RV for us... We bought my Aunt and Uncle's rig, its been well looked after and its drives GREAT, even in the WIND>>>> will hav epictures up later on after I CLEAN it. Steph congrats on the cruise that will be such fun! and with regards to Michael, YUP I am afraid that the counselor is correct. He needs to LEARN that there are Consequences to his actions... Keep the lips zipped (and plug your nose) until HE gets it. Its not a hygene problem, but rather a CONTROL issue... don't play the game. JMHO Linda: HUGS to you and Melski... I sent you some articles and I know you will get the best care for his situation. Janet: I haven't been perfect with my eating, but better... lost 2 lbs this week and wasn't even concentrating on it, or writing down, just trying NOT to eat as much crap... Hi Karla; My GF who had Gastric Bypass before I had my lap found the same thing with LEFTOVERS, couldn't tolerate them at all. It was the dryness. I got around that by making leftovers into casseroles or using the Packaged (low fat) gravy mixes to put over the meat. that helped me a LOT!!!

Ah Doggies and peanut butter, remind me the next time I see you to tell you the story of a local news ladys adventure. Hee,hee

Morning! Had a late sleep in today... it was so great to see Phyl and Hurricane Earl yesterday... what a nice visit. Phyl and I both bought new tops, almost matching ... hers is black with blue and mine is black with white. good deal! Supper was awesome, so glad you suggested that restaurant... Prime Rib was fab. I ate 2 oz of its leftovers for breakfast today... YUM I think I`ll do all protien for a few days and get myself back on track. This summer food has been endless and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything... but now the parties over.. LOL Janet: I am sorry that Andrew has moved out... it will be better for your relationship in the long run. He needs to know how LUCKY he Had IT!!! And the crap at work, argh, it just never stops eh? That 62 yr old lady will have the partner whipped into shape in no time... Try GAVISCON chewable tablets - it worked AWESOME for me... also try an extra pillow to keep you nice and HIGH while you sleep. or put a brick(2) under the head of the bed to elevate... that might help... prior to takimng out fluid... it might help enough. Linda: Hang in there with school emails... YOu now have a :Get out of Jail: date set in your mind so cross off each day on a BIG calandar next to your desk at home office!!! Use a BIG red sharpie... it will feel so good to stroke them off. Denise: I know you lurk out there, what are you up to these days girl??? It will be worth it when the new computer is up and running, remember you have a LONG weekend ahead of you... so take some time to smell the roses too. Meeting Phyl and Earl tomorrow in Niagra Falls, weather is not supposed to cooperate, but the warmth of the visit will surpass that! Got a job (casual, temporary) interview on Friday. Peter and I both were selected for interviews. We are having our municipal elections this fall and they need polling officers... some extra cash to put into my TRAVEL fund LOL.... Karla; what I am reading betweeen the lines here is YOU are greiving the loss of your teacher cohort. His premature dying has thrown you for a loop. Making you feel like you need to reexam everything. Its o.k. to be sad and just miss him... What about the sacrifice your family makes so that you can follow your dream of teaching, only to die 2 1/2 months after you retire and never get to do all the things you and your family planned. This is one of life`s curve balls. It is way not fair to loose someone so vital and young. It is a good reminder though to us all to MAKE EACH DAY special and meaningful... be it by giving to your students, or working on that fav. quilt you`ve been putting off..... or just weeding in your garden that you love so much... or going for an evening walk and catching a sunset... You have some VERY valid points Steph. Thanks for bringin them up... It is true that the REWARD for giving is the GOOD feeling you get inside because you did something nice for someone else. (real love) I have always beleived that no matter how your life may suck(at a part. point in time) there is ALWAYS someone who is worse off, and we must live life in a state of GRATITUDE other wise - what is the FLICKING point to it all??? Its like when you are married, and you get up in the morning and think to yourself. ... ``what can I do today to make my Spouses day go easier?`... and then you do that thing.... its not for YOU that you do it... its a GIFT to the other person. If we all treated one another in this world like that... how cool would life be??? I cannot do anything HUGE in this world to make a humungous difference but I can do ONE small thing....:biggrin:

Ya, how cool is that? That means that THIS is our LUCKY year GF..... I am seeing Phyl on Thursday in Niagra Falls, Cdn side of the falls... can`t wait.
