I hooked up to ivs and just waiting to be wheeled back!! Lets do this ????

I'm a 10/16 sleever too. I start my preop this Wed and have a 1200 cal/day "diet". Supposed to be lower carb...well rounded.....then I have a 2 day liquid on the 14th and 15th. I'm challenged this week as I'm traveling all week. My drs office did say they allowed one "cheat" day....hopefully I won't need it, but just in case This week is going to fly for me. I've got meetings in Ct. all week...fly all day tomorrow and then meetings galore until Friday when I fly back. Hopefully I wont be fixated on food. I've gotta admit the last couple weeks (since getting the final green light on surgery) I've been out of control....I want to taste this that and the other thing....deep down I know I need this tool to make me stop and help me get where I want to get....one day at a time....baby steps

16th here too!!! On the countdown. The next couple weeks will just fly for me!!!

I'm Oct. 16th....don't think the day can get here quick enough. Preop is on the 8th....I only have a 2 day liquid preop diet and two weeks of a 1200 calorie diet w/ lower carbs.....now i'm spending all my time trying to get ready of being out of work (and getting people around my office trained up eeeek). C'mon 16th....

Got my date today....10/16. Reality is starting to set in....the next few weeks are gonna fly. Start my preop on 10/2. Gotta maintain control.....

I've been approved by insurance and got the green light by the panel of Drs. that give the final thumbs up. Ive told work (which was super hard for me as I'm a manager and super busy these days). I've got my appointment with my surgeons office Monday to do my h pylori test, review the final "stuff", get my preop diet and schedule my surgery date. C'mon Monday......

I know I don't have room to complain but just need to vent for a minute. I've gone through all my requirements (have been working on it for months now)...I finished my last requirement last Thursday and confirmed yesterday that the Dr. sent his letter to my drs. Now my file has to go through a final review with the "panel"....and that was supposed to happen today.....but my drs office is horrible about returning calls and communicating with me. I presume they're busy and I get that but I'm soooooo tired of doing everything I'm supposed to and then not having feedback. I know its just a matter of time at this point....I've got my insurance approval and all the sign offs from everyone. I have no reason to think I won't be approved unless I don't pass my preop.....and I have NO clue what that involves at this point. I'm really trying to get this surgery in this year as my insurance is changing next year....just feeling so discouraged at this point....hurry up and wait......sorry, just feeling very down tonight for some reason....its all good and I know I need to be patient....just wish someone was advocating for me at this point Thanks for listening
