I'm now 9 weeks post sleeve and have lost 20 kg. I'm still struggling to drink enough liquid but my intake is improving. I'm loving the compliments that I'm getting :-)

Tomorrow will be 7 weeks since my surgery. I have lost 15 kilos so far. I'm getting compliments about how much more I am smiling. :-)

I'm glad all went well. I'm 2 weeks post-op and have lost 10 kg since my op date. Currently I'm still on puréed food. It's weird not getting hungry!

My surgery went well. It only hurts when I cough. Woohoo for pain killers!

My surgery day is today :-D. I'll hopefully make a post tonight. Thank you to everyone who has posted and made this journey easier by being able to read other people's experiences.

I hope to attend the next meet up. I'm one week away from my surgery date, I'm looking forward to it. I enjoy reading everyone's posts and how they are doing. :-)

I'm not doing Optifast as I'm lactose intolerant, my dietitian suggested Ensure. I hope the next 2 weeks goes fast!

Two weeks tomorrow (Thursday) until my surgery. I'm both excited and anxious at the moment.

Just make sure the wording is the way they request it to be if you get your dr to do a letter. That's where my problem was.

Hi ausmith, Have a look at the Dept of Human Services site under early release of super (medical grounds). It has the information. All up ut took about 5 weeks. Four for the approval and 1 wk for my super fund to put the money in my account. It would have been quicker if I didn't have to resubmit a document 3 times. I hope this helps.

I'm starting my countdown today :-), my super money is in my account and 5 wks till surgery day. I'm nervous and excited!

I'm having it done at the Wesley by Dr Blair Bowden. I've noticed I have the same dietitian as you. I've only seen Di once and was impressed by her.

Hello everyone! I'm booked in for my op on October 10. I've received approval for early release of my super. Congratulations to those who have reached or are close to their goal. I live in Brisbane.
