Well, we are on the sleeve side of life! Surgery went well, so far no complications. Lots of painful gas... Which was to be expected. Had surgery in TJ, Mexico, performed by Dr. Almanza. Had the procedure yesterday, stayed overnight and back at the hotel today. Hotel is much more comfortable, but to call down to the nurse for pain meds, takes a while to receive. We are waiting on our masseuse to arrive. A free 20 min massage is included in the package! Helps with the gas pains. Ill keep y'all posted!

Butterflies in my tummy this morning! 4 days until surgery! Start a three day clear liquid diet tomorrow! This mornings weight is 154lbs! At 5ft that's a chunky squatty body! Very top heavy so out of proportion. Typical chart says ideal weight is 101-107. That's too small. I'm a petite/small frame. Would be happy at 110-119. Any sleeves with 30BMI that has a success story? Thanks

We are about to go have lunch together to discuss child care arrangements. She has two very active 5 & 6 years olds! My older two daughters are going to help out while we are gone! Our liquid diet starts Friday!!! We also start out medifast diet tomorrow. Today will be out last real food day!!! Lots of anxiety but really excited are you packed and ready to go? By the way I have a low BMI and so does Shannon. Mine is barely a 30 and hers is like a 34. I fear being judged for having this surgery but its my body and I'm short and stout and sick and tired of being sick and tired! Hope to see you there!

Hi Homersmonma! My best friend and I are scheduled September 2nd with Dr. Almanza! We are coming down from Slidell, LA on September 1st! Getting a little nervous!! How are you holding up?
