  1. My date just got moved up to October 14th. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! I watch some videos on youtube and see that you eat with baby size forks and cut your food up to the size of a pea. I'm okay with this if this is what I have to do but wondering if that is really true? Also, do people miss food? As long as I can kinda eat what make for dinner just less I'd feel better. I don't fry foods. I have hamburgers on the weekends, skinless chicken, pork chops, salmon, pot roast , salads. I'm not a chip, cookies, cake snack eater. My downfall is ice cream.

    Any comments would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

  2. I began thinking of surgery in March. I knew my BMI wasn't high enough to qualify so I looked into sleep apnea as a co-morbid. I thought I had this and it turns out I have a severe case. I got my c-pap machine and am feeling much better. I went in for a consult on June 3rd. Turned in my paperwork to the ins. and have been waiting waiting waiting! I had to submit a letter from my doctor stating I have tried weight loss counseling. Insurance now approved it. I am waiting for the hospital to get the letter. I am hoping this waiting period is shorter and that I get sleeved in September but who knows. I am 5'4 211 pounds. I am very excited to get this done. Does anyone have any regrets? What does a typical day of food look like?

    Thanks
