I'm just a week out but I like the premier protein 100 cal shakes from SAMs they are only 8 oz but have 18g protein. I like that they are small and not a huge shake.

Yes, I get dizzy, go drink a protein shake and I'm good for another 4 hours.

Hey everyone. New sleeve and since day one I have had horrible chest pain. I just want to know I'm not alone. It always hurts to swallow, yes I take micro sips, and I have sudden attacks randomly when I'm not trying to eat or drink. Like I said is it common?

New Sleeve Chest Pain
Blondi418 replied to Blondi418's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Jko, I tried the gasX thin strips but it did not help with the chest gas pain at all, it did help with lower abdomen rumbles but unfortunately not the horrid pain in my chest. I have found that if I take a very deep breath after swallowing and let it out slowly the pain is not as bad. Hot things for me do not trigger it as bad as cold things. Hope we both get some relief soon . -

This sounds weird but I plan on using the Baby Yogurt melts, they are crunchy and dissolve to a tiny bit of mush, and they are sweet and tangy. Hope it helps -

Preventative measures.... Body Wraps and compression garments. Do they work?
Blondi418 posted a topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
So here's the deal, I'm 25 years old pre-op and worried to death about "deflating body syndrome". I know working out will help, but the reality is I have to lose 160+ pounds and that is bound to leave a pretty good amount of jiggle. I have seen ads and testimony about body wraps and compression garments telling their miracle working abilities but has anyone tried them? I have no insurance and would have to pay out of pocket for "the plastics" not to mention I don't Love the idea of another surgery. I'm thinking that maybe doing a body wrap every month as I lose the weight would help with skin tightening. Or has anyone heard about the body compression garments. Please please I need some input on this. Thanks in advance. -
