Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!

Oh No, Candice. Been there, done that. It was right up there with burying Jayli. My heart goes out to you and Peter. Did you tell Peter what you've planned? It's gonna tear him up. I still remember you two telling us about her as a puppy and how she just crawled into Peter's heart. I've been pretty down lately. Yeah, Steph.we've got the same problem. I know what to do and have good intentions but then...........................You all know how that goes. I'm gonna have to let you go. Hubby said he's hungry and now he's in the kitchen doing who knows what. I'll try to check in later if I can tear my butt away from FB.

Hello to everyone out there. Great night tonight. Got two little sweetheart angels sound asleep upstairs. Got them for the whole weekend while DD and SIL do some painting at their house. KARLA- You got the package. Good. Do the tops fit? I sure hope so. I'm wearing my dusty rose sweater, just like the lavendar one I sent you. JANET - Did those lowlifes wreck your door or wasn't it latched tight? Hope they catch them. HUGS PHYL- Drive carefully. Keep safe and have a good journey. JACKIE - Sounds like you have it all together. Good for you. Things will work out. STEPH - saw on FB that Michael is doing good. That is great news. I put you guys on our prayer list yesterday at Mountain Movers. Looking forward to hear how he is doing. Okay, Don't worry if you Don't hear from me this week end. I've got two little angels to entertain me and I am going to savor every moment. Have a great week-end. TTYL OH, I FORGOT CANDICE- Have a fantastic wedding Sunday. Take lots of pictures and post them. Don't stress out. Just Chill and enjoy the day.

Hi guys Internet is back on high speed. I hate it when it goes to dial up. Things are going pretty good. Had soda Sat. nite at a b'day party and again Monday when hubby and I went out for lunch. I decided that I am going to drink it only as a special treat. Doing without will kill me and I'll binge on it. So, my occasional glass of soda will be like your glass of wine. Signed up for the gym. Went for the bigger package. $1.00 sign up and 19.99 per month. Got a t-shirt (WOW), get unlimited tanning, use of a massage chair, unlimited guest privileges and I can use any Planet Fitness in the US. There is one ust a couple miles from my mom's in Florida. GF and I are heading down there this afternoon. I can't wait. Okay, I need to go get dressed so I will check back later.

Phyl - I totally agree with you about Candice's basement and Tim Hortons bf sandwiches. On the issue of your CRV, I have a 2001 CRV and the manual says to change the oil every 3600 miles. Brad had a 92 Civic that he changed the oil on regularly and it had 450,000 miles on it when we got rid of it. Karla - DO NOT..............AND I MEAN DO NOT BAIL OUT YOUR DAUGHTER. She made her choice and when ever you get the urge to feel sorry for her, just think about your closet and lack of clothes and then think about that hockey gear. Okay, I confessed how i've been bad here. Went to bed and woke up this morning at 4:30. This whole issue going over and over in my mind. I knew there was no way I was going back to sleep. Then all of a sudden a Bible verse popped into my head (we've been discussing trials in church and small groups) "So then, those that suffer according to God's will , shall commit themselves to their faithful creator and do good." Dang. It hit me then. I've been trying to do this my way, on my own. It's no wonder I am failing here. I need to put this in God's hands and I did. And so far today, I am doing really good. Not even head hunger. I just need to remember to give Him the glory and lean on him for help and encouragement. That doesn't mean I don't need you guys though. I need balance. Linda - HUGS, and another one to Mindy too. Okay. enough here. TTYL. Thinking of curling up under a quilt and taking a nap. It is cold and damp here although the rain has stopped and the sun has just come out.

One day short of three weeks, and...........I BLEW IT. Brad and I went to this guys surprise 75th birthday party this afternoon and there are all these two liter bottles sitting on the table. I told myself that a 75th birthday was a special event so I had a glass of pepsi and a glass of coke. Then I had a chicken wing, a slice of ham, a spoon of cheesy potatoes, raw califlower, a pickle and a little one in. slice of lasagna. Oh yeah, and a piece of birthday cake. But, I only had one bite of the cake. (I ate the frosting though). So, tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. So hold the kudos for a couple weeks. I sure didn't deserve them tonight.

OKAY!!! KICK MY BUTT!!! Made lousy food choices today. Lots of JUNK. But, no SODA. Now, if I could just get all this crap out of me, I'd be doing good. (I know, TMI) I have to laugh at all the man stories. I've got a few of them myself. Guess it's just a guy thing. EH? Steph - GREAT BIG GIANT HUG!!!!! You are not alone. Karla - one long sleeve shirt, one 3/4 sleeve sweater top and a couple short sleeved ones. and one pair of black slacks (pull on) I hope they work out for you. I'm anxious to find out. Jackie - sounds like Courtney's doing just great. chomping at the bit to get out and start her new life. WTG OKAY, BETTER DAY TOMORROW. TALK TO YOU ALL THEN.

Oh Steph, I'm praying for you and Michael. All things are possible with God. I know that doesn't really help but it is true. HUGS!! Karla - got to post office today. Watch the mail. They said 7-10 days. Hope they work out. If not, pass them on to someone who can use them. Jackie - great news on the surgery. Isn't it always the way that the more we worry and stress over things, the better things work out. Pray that all Courney's dreams come true. And fantastic about your pounds loss. Wish my scale would start moving. It has to be either lack of the gym or reduced thyroid meds. Gonna take care of the gym thing and will discuss the other with my doctor. Still no soda. I did see the cutest little pepsi bottles at the grocery store. O-oh-h. tempting. so tempting. But I resisted. Janet - Safe trip Phyl - great on the walking. I'd still take your little scooter with you. Remember, no one shot Murphy before he made his laws. You just may need it. HAVE A GREAT NIGHT ALL. STAY SAFE. PRAYERS GOING OUT FOR ALL OF YOU.

I forgot to mention that I'm thinking of joining a gym too. Heard on TV last night that Planet Fitness is charging a $1.00 sign up fee and it is only $10.00/month. And I don't think there's a contract. Of course, it's about 35-40 min. drive, but for that price I can certainly manage once or twice a week.

Hm-m-m-m, Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, and Washington..................sounds to me like you and Peter are planning on visiting us lapbanders. Your quilt turned out gorgeous. I want to see the BOM one when it's done. I had quilting class tonight. We're just doing a scrappy quilt but I am finding it hard to get off the computer and on the sewing machine so I figured it was time to go back to class. Karla - I got thre care package all ready to ship. Going to the post office tomorrow. Still no soda. And did pretty good today. Only snack I had was a low fat cheese stick just a little while ago. Of course, dinner wasn't the greatest but the other two meals were. JANET - Hugs to you on your trip. Know we're thinking of you and are in our prayers.

Hey!!! I like them black too. No calories. Although, I have to admit that it's been years since I had any marshmallows that didn't come out of a box of Fruit Loops. My high speed is back on. Still no Soda. Can you Believe it? Only water to drink. Also, I am trying to make some good food choices but it isn't always easy. I figure that the no soda issue is the most important right now and the rest will follow. Yeah, Antidepressants are HELL on the sex drive. I can live without it but once in a while would be nice. Okay, will check in later. Love you guys.

Another day down and no soda. It's been a whole week now. Pedaled yesterday 130 minutes. 63 minutes today. Phyl - Johannah sounds adoreable. How old is she? Janet - have a safe trip. And I want you to take your right hand and put it on your left shoulder. Then take your left hand and put it on your right shoulder. Then squeeze. THERE............i just sent you a virtual hug. Karla - hugs. If the cat doesn't work out, it's their problem. Not yours. Let them handle it. You do not have to drive 8 hours. Don't get stressed out about it. Candice - Glad you had fun camping. Were you warm enough?? It's that time of year, you know. EH? Jackie - your DH sounds a lot like my DH. Roommates. I've been wondering lately if I even remember how IT is done. Or, is there really an IT? Have a great night. Check back tomorrow.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!

FOUR DAYS ! ! ! ! Four days and no pepsi or soda. Just water. And, today, I had three prime opportunities to drink some. Instead of buying a pepsi, I bought a water. WILL CHECK BACK TOMORROW.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!

Seems quiet tonight, but I've got to check in. Didn't do really great today...........let's put it this way, I didn't eat a whole lot, I just could have made better choices. I didn't have to finish that scoop of mashed taters for lunch (that's all I had) And I shouldn't have had a biscuit with my bowl of stew for dinner. But NO SODA!!! Snack was a cheese stick and a package of cheese and crackers. I WILL CHECK IN AGAIN TOMORROW. HAVE A GOOD DAY.

Lucky #7 are still going strong !!!

I'm checking in. More about my day later. Phyl - doesn't it feel fantastic to get around on two legs? When I was really fat, my back just killed me. (knees too, but.>>) After the weight came off, it was back to the normal shopping carts (no more scooters for me) and even wqs able to go to a mall. Don't quit the Zoloft though. Janet - sorry to hear about your aunt. I will say a prayer for her. I know what it is like to lose the last link with part of your family. My dad was born in Germqny and all his relatives are still there. Don't ask me where though. There is no one left of his immediate family here so when I hand down my family tree to my kids, it goes no further back than my grandparents. Jackie - I like your new avatar. It's kind of little to see it very well, but it reminds me of Melanie Griffiths. Okay, Now for my day. I don't know if my food selections were good or not, but I am happy with them. In fact, I'm kind of proud of myself. You see, a big bunch of us from church drove 2 hrs to take one of our old timers out to lunch. We went to the Mongolian BBQ. I'd never been there so I didn't know what to expect. I did think to myself that this was special, I could have some goodies. Anyway, time to order beverage?? I DID NOT ORDER PEPSI!!!! I had ice wqter. Two glasses. Food, I had the soup and salad bar. Soup was Bavarian Cheese. It was out of this world. Probably filled with calories. A cheddar soup with bacon, parmesan and spices. YUMMY. I had two cups of it. Then I had salad. Put lots of protein on it. Chopped eggs, cheese, onions. I was full. Then, for dinner, I had a cup of chicken boullion, and one ear of sweet corn. During the biggest loser, I'll probably have a cheese stick for some protein. And, we left early this morning so I only got 40 minutes of pedaling in so far. Maybe later. OKAY. ENOUGH HERE FOR TODAY. BACK TO MY ADDICTION (FB), THE tHE bIGGEST LOSER. HAVE A GOOD NIGHT AND I'LL CHECK BACK TOMORROW.

I am checking in. All in all, things went pretty good today. The worst was this morning not long after I posted here. I finished off a piece of kielbassa that was in the fridge. For lunch, I had a lean pocket (260 cal) and for dinner I had a lean Cousine. For an afternoon snack I had two colby-jack sticks (80 ea.) So far I have drank three bottles of water. I was thinking that maybe tonight, i would have a 100 cal popcorn, but I just noticed the time. Think I'll just have another water. I WILL BE BACK TOMORROW. HOPEFULLY THINGS WILL BE A LITTLE EASIER.

Here I am. Got up this morning, took pills and then had a 100 yo crunch for breakfast. Then pedaled 71 minutes. Now, thinking of getting some water cause I am fighting the head hunger right now. I forgot to tell you guys what I found at Walmart the other day. Now, when I was looking for the yo crunch, I saw this stuff by Yo plait called delights parfait. 100 Calories. Looked good and some girl told me that they were out of this world. She said the lemon was the best. They were out of lemon, wouldn't you know it? So she told me the chocolate raspberry was so so but the caramel creme was pretty good. So I picked it up and that's what I had for breakfast the next day. Let me tell you, I couldn't finish it. Talk about RICH!!!! But, delish. OH YEAH! A hundred calories. No way! That is one thing that will satisfy a sweet tooth without the calories and guilties. You've got to try it. Hey, Jackie,...even Jesus gave Mary and Joseph problems when he was young. LOL OKAY, GONNA GO DRINK MY WATER. TALK TO YOU ALL LATER AND TELL YOU HOW IT'S GOING. HAVE A GOOD DAY.

dELOS - I forgot to mention that we are neighbors. I'm only about an hour and a half from Kazoo. We live about a half hour NE of Jackson. Maybe when you're back on your feet (or should I say knees) maybe we can meet up.

I'M WITH YOU!!!!! I HEAR YOU!!! Yes, I've got to do something. I've got a closet full of really cute tops but most of them are showing that little roll around the waist. Got rid of all the fat clothes and I am refusing to buy anything in a larger size. Besides, I want my tummy tuck. I had started giving myself a break on Sundays with pedaling. Not today. I've gone forty minutes so far. What I really need to do is find another gym to go to that isn't too far away or too expensive. So far, the only one I have found that fits that criteria is around forty minutes away. But, there are a few other ladies who are interested in going also, so it is something to think about. I still think my thyroid has a lot to do with the scale moving up. It didn't start till my doctor cut the dosage. So, I either start taking one and a half pills or wait till I go for labs and get back to the doctor. Jackie - no offense taken. I was just kind of guessing as to what goes thru kids minds. It's been quite a while since I've been there and I don't know either you or your daughter so what I wrote was just something generic. Sounds to me though that you have two terrific kids. I have to admit that I've been blessed with three great kids too, but I would be lying if I said they never gave me any problems. Karla - I haven't forgotten that care package I told you I'd send off. I got the box and just got to put the stuff in and head to the post office. Oh yeah, I have to wash one of the tops cause I wore it today. I like it so much that I have three of them, in different colors. I just don't look too good in lavender. I have one in soft lime green and coral. Those are more my style. I've mentioned before that I am the worlds best procrastinator but since tomorrow is to be the first day of my new start............maybe I will get them in the mail. (pray) Okay, gonna let you guys go, I will check back in tomorrow and let you know how things are going for me. For now, I am going through Facebook withdrawal so.............. (guess where I am headed). HAVE A GOOD NIGHT. SEE YOU TOMORROW.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What great news. Just what you needed to cheer you up. Jackie - it kind of sound like DD wants bypass cause it is easier. She's young and let's face it, when you're young, who wqnts to work hard. I just hope she realizes that just about everyone I know who has had that surgery loses really fast, looks fantastic (sounds good , doesn't it?) and then after about a year, starts putting the lbs back on. If you aren't careful, you're back where you started and then what do you do? One of my dear friends who has had it done, (almost 3 yrs ago) still has problems with bowels. In fact, just a couple weeks ago, while running an errand, she had to go home and shower, wash her clothes and clean out her car cause she had an unavoidable "accident". (yep, the stinkeria) Okay, now it's time for me to be honest here. I've been doing so bad. I am pretty sure I dojn't need a fill and it is just about what I eat. Last nite, I was a bottomless pit. I couldn't eat enough. And yes, the scale is creeping back up. So, I have decided that come Monday.............I am back on the program. My jeans are getting snug but they still fit. And I refuse to get a larger size. So, unless I want to go around in my underwear (and I'm popping out of my bras) and forget about that tummy tuck DM is popping for......I have got lose these pounds. So, say a prayer for me that I can do it and stick with it. Here is my cell # 734-904-8616. If I skip two days posting here, call me and give me hell. Kick my butt........whatever. I AM GOING TO DO THIS. A-G-A-I-N.

I got this e-mail this morning and I thought it was perfect for all of us, so I copied it and we'll see if it will paste here. But first, Karla you are one big chicken. What can it hurt to just meet and have coffee. If you don't click, just don't click on any more e-mails from him. He'll get the hint. Just don't give out your address or phone number. Okay, are you ready for a good laugh? *The Importance of Walking* Walking can add minutes to your life. This enables you at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7000 per month. My grandpa started walking five miles a day when he was 60. Now he's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell he is. I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me. The only reason I would take up walking is so that I could hear heavy breathing again. I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.. I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there. Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.. I do have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them. The advantage of exercising every day is so when you die, they'll say, 'Well, she looks good doesn't she.' If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country. I know I got a lot of exercise the last few years,...... just getting over the hill. We all get heavier as we get older, because there's a lot more information in our heads. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. AND Every time I start thinking too much about how I look, I just find a Happy Hour and by the time I leave, I look just fine. HAVE A GOOD DAY LADIES. TTYL
