Evenin' folks. Been a long day today. VBS this morning, then left early afternoon to a wedding and we just got home. I was bad. Ate a lot, drank some beer and ate an end piece of wedding cake. Have to admit though, didn't upchuck today. Steph - if I put $5.00 away every time I was bad............heck, I'd be leaving next week. Janet - You and I seem to be the same kind of parent. I always say that God gave kids butts to smack. Candace - Canada sounds great to me. It's closer than Vegas and the M of A. Okay, it's bedtime.............talk to y'all tomorrow.

Oreo I live in the SW corner of Livingston County, but my daughter and her family live in Allendale.

Oreo Seems we are in the same place. I was banded last July.....have lost 103 lbs and feel the same way you do. It's funny, but it seems like forever for me to notice the fat lady in the mirror, but now I can't seem to get rid of her.

Nettie I wavered between band and bypass for the longest time. I knew a few people who had the bypass but no one with the band. I finally decided to go lapband because it is less invasive and I don't have to cut certain foods out of my diet. Since your daughter went thru bypass, you know the ins and outs and have seen it first hand. I was banded last July down in Mexico. I go to Hillsdale for fills and he has you come in every month. I was getting a fill each time until May when I finally got good restriction. I haven't seen the doctor since then, although I'm thinking maybe I need a tweak. In that yer, I have lost 102 pounds with just 35 more to go. It's been hard work, but it is worth it. I figure with the band, as long as I have restriction (my choice) it should work forever to keep my weight down. One thing I have noticed with my friends who have had the bypass, is they are starting to put the weight back on. I know they don't plan to put it back on, or they wouldn't have had the surgery in the first place. The lapband isn't a quick fix, but I believe it will work a lot longer.

BEEN BANDED IN MEXICO?? OR MOVED? AND NEED A DOCTOR TO DO FILLS. This is what I did. I went on line and got a list of all bariatric doctors within a 75 mile radius of my home. I was surprised that I found around thirty doctors. I then got on the phone and called them all. I'll be honest and tell you that the majority wouldn't take me but when I was done making calls, I had five different doctors to choose from. I compared locations and prices and made my decision. I then came online here and posted the list of doctors that will do fills. I thought I posted here and I also posted it on the MiCHIGAN site. It would be a big help if you've done this if you could post it here.

Ok, here I go,. See if I remember all I want to say here. PHYLL - Happy bandiversay. I'm probably a day late, but what else is new? STEPHANIE- I have been pb'ing quite a bit myeslf lately. In fact, there are times I think I'm becoming bullimic. I think, it's time for a fill, and then I PB. GOD SMACK!! I even chew really good so I find it hard to believe. I finally figured out it isn't how well I chew, but how big a bite I take. Could that be your problem? RUBY- When I got done reading your post, I said "dang, I want to meet this woman." I think you and I would get along just great. I have that same attitude towards food. Hey, I figure if I wanted to deprive myself, I would have had the bypass and not the band. I'm going to make it to goal,. but I figure why deprive myself (just don't go overboard) It might take a little longer but I'll get there. Now, I have had a rough week end. I was craving something. I don't know what........but I wanted it. And It wasn't in my house. I was going crazy. Anyway, DH wanted to go shopping todAY but he didn't want to wait till afternoon so I could go to the gym, So, I skipped the gym, walked Meijers, instead of using a cart and doubled my pedaling for the day. THE POINT HERE IS:.................don't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. Still don't know what I am craving........but it's in my cupboards now. (except for the Pepsi, didn't get any) I'm sure I will find it sooner or later. EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD DAY.........MAKE GOOD FOOD CHOICES AND DRINK LOTS OF FLUIDS. I live about 25 miles south , somewhere between #6 and 7. closer to #7. But, if I'm gonna be up in Grd. Rapids watching the kidlets, they only live 22 miles from Muskegan. I could meet you at the dock.

THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH. 6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. 7. Sounds just like my day. DH and I went to the Ann Arbor art Fair today. They close off the downtown streets and artists from all over the country show their stuff. It was sunny, hot and humid. And on our way back to the shuttle bus, (we got lost) I got super dizzy and thought I was going to pass out. They called EMS and they transported me to the ER. Dehydration. Just got home around 10:00 tonight. Didn't eat too much today so we'll see what the scale says in the morning. That is how I celebrated my bandiversary.

We went to Wally world today to get some yogurt and I found running tank tops for 3$ so I bought one. Here is a picture of me in it. There are NO binders, no spanx...just my bare belly and the shirt. It isn't the greatest picture of me, but my belly looks freaking fantastic! Forget the belly..............the whole package looks freaking fantastic!!

Evenin' Ladies Just checking in here. Went shopping today with DH and actually walked the mall. We have a wedd8ng to go to in a couple weeks and I don't have a dress to wear. Found a real cute one, tried it on and it fit. Didn't look too bad either (shock) Then I got a look at the batwings..............(did I mention it was a sundress?). Dang, that loose skin just keeps getting looser and looser. Now it is a toss up as to whether I am the saggy baggy elephant or the Little Old Lady from Pasadena. Neither one really paints what you'd call a pretty picture. Needless to say...I didn't get the dress. I did get two bras at K-mart though. In all my 58 years, I've only found one bra that fit me right. (now discontinued). Then I found this one at K-mart. It's called Pink and it is only $7.99 (on sale for $6.00) I love it!! Fits great, feels great and it's feminine. (not a harness). With my luck, they're on sale cause they're closing them out. OKAY..................Have a great evening everyone. Take it easy Karri....
