I'm also scheduled for November 25th. Super nervous about it. But happy to have a date. -
Scar Tissue or Adhesions Pre-op

I was just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced stronger orgasms with the weight loss. I am still pre op and I have noticed over the past few years that my O's, while plentiful and not too difficult to achieve, seem to have decreased in intensity. I'm only 31, so nowhere near menopause. I have had a couple of kids in the last five years, but they were by c-section. So my pelvic floor should still be pretty much intact. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the weight has something to do with it. I would like to hear your thoughts. I'm hoping that someday I will be able to have the earth shattering orgasms that I had in my teens and early twenties.

Also have you posted any TT before and after pics?

Beautiful! You should be so proud of yourself. And congrats on the upcoming nuptials. -
You are looking great. I was looking at photos in the slow loss thread, and came by your pics in the wedding dress. You looked really pretty. Keep it up. Can't wait to get sleeved!

Apple Shaped Ladies: Holla Back!

Yes, can't wait to lose the back boobs. Also, I really hope to lose from the waist up. When I was in high school, at about 140 lbs, I had more of a defined waist and rounder hips. I think I was still an apple, just much less noticeable. I have always had a tummy, but after I had my c-sections, i swear it never went back in. I hope to get back close to my original shape even if it takes a little nip/tuck. I never really had much of a butt... I'm a black chick, so I might have to buy one of those, too. -

Heyher, You look great. My husband and I were commenting on how young and feminine your face looks. Your pics give me hope that I can whittle my middle a little bit. Do you work out much? If so what are you doing? -
Things I will NOT miss about being fat.
LynRN replied to unbesleevable1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first one takes some explaining: I am a Newborn Nursery RN and I hate having to sit the babies on my gut or the desk to feed them because I have no lap. I'm only 5'2 and weigh 256 lbs, most of which is belly. I get so jealous seeing the skinny nurses rocking the babies to sleep on their knees. Yeah, won't miss that. I also hate having to be told that I've been puked on because I can't see it around my huge gut. Won't miss that either. Other things I won't miss: Asking for a table at a restaurant for fear that I won't fit in a booth. The chub rub between my thighs.. Those friction bumps are horrendous. The flap slap when I'm exercising or doing "the grown up" thing with the husband. Being self conscious ... all of the time. Being the fat sister. Never being flirted with... Except by my husband ( so glad he still likes me. So I guess that one's okay). Not being able to find clothes that flatter my appleicious figure. There's many more, but that'll do for now. -
I am a longtime lurker but this is my first post. I am not sleeved yet as I had to do a 6 month diet for my insurance. I failed miserably and now the NP in charge of the diet is holding up my team approval because of "compliance concerns." I am really upset. I thought the 6 moth diet was just a "hoop" or else I would have taken it more seriously. I am also really upset with myself. Why couldn't I pull it together for this supervised diet. I am a nurse and we HATE when people make excuses for being noncompliant. But here I am. Anyway, I have another month tacked on to the supervised diet to "prove myself." How did I get here? So ashamed.

Sorry this should have gone in the pre op thread, but I would welcome any words of wisdom.
