Well, one week down on my 2 week liquid diet and my surgeon's nurse calls this morning to tell me that my surgery is going to have to be moved from the 4th to the 11th...not real happy at the moment!!! I guess it is what it is though sooooo September 11th here I come!!! Susan

Good googly woogly I hate to hear that you had to go through all of that. I sure hope that's a rare problem, I'm on day 5 of my pre surgery diet and I know that complications can happen but dang, you went through hell. I hope all goes well from now on. Susan

I'm new to this too and I'm so glad you asked this question...I bought a multi-vitamin made by opurity that's labeled bypass and sleeve optimized multivitamin, I wonder if I'm gonna need other supplements too. Susan

I see what you mean about second guessing now, going to Las Vegas for your daughters wedding will be difficult in my opinion, everyone will be celebrating and there's always big meals at celebrations, not to mention the wedding cake (which would be hard for me to resist!). As for what you tell folks that mention your weight loss...tell them 'well thank you for noticing'!!! How you did it is no ones business but yours!

I know...I think the pepperoni's look super-sized My husband asked me if it would bother me if he cooked himself a pizza for dinner tonight...I told him noooooo it wouldn't bother me at all!!! I made it through it though...kinda proud of myself! Susan

Hi!!! I'm having mine done on the 4th too! It is a huge decision to have this surgery but I truly feel that it's the right choice for me...I do have times when I start second guessing myself too though, especially when I see pizza commercials on TV!!! Good luck! Susan

I have never been 'in' to working out in a gym...with that said, I have joined gyms 3 times over the years and every time I did I would go and work out at first and slowly get to the point of not going. The gym owners didn't care if I showed up or not because once I joined they got their payment every month (auto-pay)!!! I would suggest that if you really don't like to workout to get month to month membership I sure would have saved a lot of money if I had done that! Good luck! Susan

Me too!!! Listerine breath strips have 0 calories...they actually have 0 every thing according to MYFITNESSPAL.com!!!

I've tried the Unjury chocolate splendor and chicken soup, they are both really good...at least I think they are! Susan

Hi Kristi, I'm new here too! I am having my surgery on Sept. 4th and on day 2 of my liquid diet!!! There is a lot of really good info and advice on this website, I read old & new posts for hours...it keeps me from thinking about food! LOL Good luck! Susan

Heather, We can do this!!! Today is my first day on my pre-surgery liquid diet...I think they put us on these diets for soooo long because a few cheats are bound to happen at least until we get going good on all liquids!!! So far so good for me but the day is still young!!! Susan

I am having my surgery on September 4th in Springfield Missouri.

The only person that knows about my surgery is my husband. I know if I tell my mother or sister that they will try to talk me out of it and I just don't want to talk about it...my mind is made up. I start my liquid diet this Wednesday and my surgery is scheduled for September 4th.

My surgery is September 4th! I am counting down the days...I saw a picture of myself yesterday and I have been mad at myself since seeing it! Come on Sept. 4!!!
