  1. Random question. Do you count your pre and post workout shakes or bars as a meal or no? My surgeon has me doing 3 meals, no Snacks, 60-80g of Protein a day, and 90 oz of fluids. I do workout quite a bit weight lifting, and running, etc. I'm burning on average over 3000 calories a day and consuming 400-600 calories. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


  2. I got a fitbit for myself and do 10,000 steps a day at minimum. I also do weight training for 30-45 mins 4 days a week, 3 days a week I run for 30 mins. The easiest thing is to carve out some time somehow, treat it like an appointment you make with yourself everyday.


  3. Protein helps maintain muscle and helps the body repair itself as well as build muscle. You very well may have consumed over 60g of protein prior to surgery you would be surprised. I looked at a label of organic chicken breast the other day to see there was 28g in just 4 oz I couldn't believe it. Also, the protein makes you feel fuller longer so it helps fight your hunger as well. I average 60g-80g per day
