  1. wow this is so good for everyone. I to am now a slow loser, lol. I started at approximately 230 and am now 185. I lost the first amount of weight quite quickly, and the last 5-6 weeks maybe 5 or so pounds, but a loss is a loss. I am happy if it keeps coming off. Well done sleevers

    Post-Op, Stopped loosing weight

OMG, I am the same, I have lost about 15kilos and now for the last 3 weeks nothing. I completely get how you are feeling. I am about 7 weeks out and am so frustrated. I have no idea what you are doing wrong. I would love some ideas also. I am still drinking the Optifast x 2 times a day, and then dinner I am having something light. Please help it is so frustrating
  3. Congratulations, you have done really well. Keep up the great work. I love seeing these pick as yes it is an inspiration
  4. I have been sick 3 or 4 times in 5 weeks. I am not eating anything bad, I have mashed vegies one of the days. I think that I ate them to fast, thats all I can put it down to. 5 weeks out and I am doing two Opti a day and frozen yogurt ice block for dinner. My Doc just said to eat slow and watch the amount.
  5. I have lost 15kg's in 5 weeks, I am happy with this so far

  6. well done Were you exercising heaps to lose this so quickly? What a great job, I have lost nearly 15 Kg's in 6 weeks, I hope that I can get the great results that you have done. ******Congratulations******
  7. 2 weeks Post Op and I have lost 11.5kg's total

  8. I am the same, it took me a good week and a half to really start taking a good amount of water. You have to remember that your stomach is swollen d=from the surgery, Just do tiny sips, have a bottle next to you, so you know how much you are drinking daily. I am now 2 weeks post surgery and can now almost do 1.5 litres. I am getting there, but don't push yourself.
  9. I am exactly lik you sleeve master, well done for the weight loss .

  11. Hi healthygal, I just wanted to answer one part of the question, "why not just do all those same things with all of your stomach intact?" I did all these things with my stomach in tact, and lost no weight. I did 8 months of boot camp, whilst having my diet monitored by a personal trainer, numerous attempts of diets did not work for me. Unfortunately, nothing changed. I did not go into this halfheartedly, this was a chance for me to regain life - confidence, health and happiness. I am only 7 days post op - But I needed this as a tool to assist me with my weight loss journey. You answered one thing for yourself here "I'm a nurse and know what I'm looking at if I stay at this weight." Good luck with everything, whatever you decide, you will make the right choice for you. Everyone is different.
  12. Finally I can drink more water! & days Post Op
