How long was everyone out of work?
treewithano replied to rredrruby87's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was off week and a half. Almost too soon. Was exhausted and my incision hurt. ( I'm a teacher) too much bending..... -
Meed afvice about a food!
treewithano replied to kim2002's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've never stopped having hot sauce. Not a problem for me. Wings should be fine. Even if it has some butter as well remember we need some fat in our diets -

Interesting that everyone wants to loose weight, and to be healthy , maybe more beautiful. Then , as we look for non judgemental support on this forum we innocently get blindsided by the Jerry Springer show. Subjected to the inner ugly from a"few". Losing weight isn't going to fix the inside boys. Eat what you want. Everything in Moderation folks. This is a lifetime shift. You'll all do fine. Like I tell my kindergartners ... Be nice

I also pat my stomach if I feel a little too full. Tiny sips of water also seems to help push it thru

Any other arthritic knee pain peeps out there?
treewithano replied to sippigrl's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I too had total knee replacement two years ago and a "clean out" on the left this summer. Not wanting another knee replacement for a long time I opted for the sleeve . Ortho said h Each pound we lose is twenty lbs of pressure on those joints. Since I have lost 43 since meniscus surgery I took almost 900 lbs of pressure off those poor knees. Left knee is so much better!!! -
Whos in September? We need some September buddies!
treewithano replied to janie2024's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do what you can to take something to say and your insides. I just went through that this past week. I was sleeved on the third. Was going but very little. Yesterday was this capper. It was a flipping nightmare. So do what you can to keep things soft. We are not getting enough fat or fluids to keep everything moving. So ask your doctor what you should take. It's really ugly if it's if you haven't gone for a long time -
