Hello All. My name is Kasie I'm new to this all. My Dr is Dr. Kim from Colleyville, Tx. Im scared, worried, excited, happy. LOL i'm just full of mixed emotions. I start my pre-op Liquid diet on the 19th. I have to do the Bariessentials Shakes. I am ready for a new life and for this amazing opportunity of a tool that will be given to me I know its not going to be easy but I'm ready for the journey. I have a couple of questions Is pickle pops ok? They are 5 calories 2g carbs and 0 sugar. I love pickles and I could eat these Popsicles all day. Any tips, motivation or anything would help tremendously!! I have learned a lot from these forums and its also well kinda eased my nervousness lol. I know to leave it all in Gods hands. TIA

Are Pickle pops considered liquid . They have no sugar and that's what I can't have.. Heres a pic of them below...

Does anyone have any suggestions on making low sodium broths by scratch? Any help would be appreciated.

I was told to quit smoking to so I got a vapor cig even though it has nicotine I'm down to 12g nicotine. They say the healing process is longer with possibly more complications with smoking and sometimes they won't do the surgery. My dr knows I went from pack and a half a day to couple puffs from my vapor a day... I'm getting ther I get sleeved 8/26/13. Good luck!

We'll, I work from home doing medical collections billing/coding so I think I'm good with time off.. Lol

I am on day one of my pre_op diet. I'm doing the bariessentials shake 4x a day and broth sf jello and ad Popsicles. I've have had this headache for couple hours now. I get sleeve on 26th so 6 more days on this!! I hear it gets easier after a couple of days.. Any suggestions?

Good luck! I'm not allowed any meals my shakes are my meals. Pickle pops are just pickle juice I'm assuming and are Popsicles. Google it only place I've ever seen them is here at our H.E.B. they r dish if your a pickle lovers lol
