@@Shell88 got it, insurance can be a pain but this surgery is well worth it. Good luck on the 11the, you got a countdown going? Hey @ courtneyxo17 I went to Dr. Rob Barbalinardo up at Moutainside Hospital near Verona, he was great! Had it done 6/24/13 and down 145 so far only 45 to go. Had two wrist surgeries or I'd be at my goal already.

Hey @@Shell88! Very cool, did you have yours done there as well?

I was thinking of getting a tattoo on my side like on my rib cage. I lost 115 and have about 70 lbs to go til I reach my goal weight of 180. Just wondering does anyone know if I get it now will it lose its shape once I reach my goal weight? Most of my weight is in my hips, thighs and lower stomach that I still need to lose and you can see my rib cage at the weight I'm at now. 6'2 and big boned I guess helps in this case. Any advice is appreciated!

Eating with Coworkers Who don't know
sportygurl107 replied to sportygurl107's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thanks everyone for your suggestions will deff try them out -
I work at a job where I do alot of traveling and will have to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with my coworkers or if I work out of the office, will have to go to lunch as a group. It wasn't a problem before cause the office I was working for didn't notice. When I transferred to another location, everyone seems to pay more attention to it. I've been telling people either it's not good the food or that I'm just not hungry but don't think I can keep that going. What are some of the other excuses you have used with people you don't want finding out? I work in a field that something like getting sleeved is frowned upon and thought of as a weakness as well as getting around to everyone like wildfire once out so keeping this quite is a big deal as long as I can. (Plus lost 115 lbs in about 10 months and no one has noticed!)

could anyone tolerate icy cold protein shakes?
sportygurl107 replied to A_ReNUDE_me's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I started drinking the protein shakes two days after surgery and they always had to be cold or I couldn't get them down. I made ice pops with the ones I could mix with water and that helped reach the daily protein amount early on. -
