Sept. 3rd Sleeve, Crazy Gas Noises
BigMan71 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi everyone, I was sleeved (actually a band to sleeve revision) on Sept. 3rd and all went well. I am having crazy loud abdominal gas noises but very difficult in getting the gas out. In the few times I have been able to pass ANY of the gas, first was diarrhea then a large amount of gas. When the gas came out, it almost felt as my abdomen was rearranged. I am guessing it was the CO2 from the surgery but does anyone know better how to pass it? THANKS!!! -

You can also try a mineral oil enema. Makes you get the feeling to go and lubricates everything. -
Did you try making your own broth with no sodium? Just get soup greens from the supermarket and a soup or fryer chicken and simmer. When its done, you can strain and refrigerator it.

Sept 3rd surgery date and I feel like I might not be able to do this

Hi Frankie, I have the same surgery date as you and I started at 513lbs,,,,we are in the same boat,,,,must be a hell of a big boat,,,LOL. Yes, there can be complications but there can be complications with anything. You and I both know that if we don't act and do this surgery, our days are numbered. I am 42yo and I feel that my luck will run out soon if I don't make the change. Just stay positive and think about all the good things that will come out of the surgery. For me, it is playing with my kids, going on rides with them and just being here for a long time with my wife and kids and someday grandkids. Good luck and keep your head up!!!!
