I am having this surgery because I want to live. Of course, it will improve the quality of my life but it is detrimental to my existence that I get this weight off. I want my life back and I have tried everything under the sun and nothing works. I am ready mentally and physically. I am a Sarcoidosis Survivor and Lord willing this surgery will help make life easier. I will tell you more as my journey progresses. In the meantime, I am glad that I now have a place to vent and communicate with others who understand.
