Katerzz~ I wanted to let you know that if they are telling you to do Isopure you can get it mixed up already at GNC. It comes in a bottle. This might help if you wanted to take it with you when you are on the go!!

Isa Good luck on all your surgery I sure hope they got some gooood pain meds for you. That nose and chin surgery sounds painful. You are one brave girl. You will do wonderful on all 3 I'm sure. let us know how you are okay!!!

Kathy You have every right to be this excited.I am so excited for you. I'm glad the little pee pee man is helping get out all that pre surgery jitters. You sound like you are so ready for this and I know you will do great. I wore a sports bra for the entire week after my band surgery and it was wonderful! Sounds like you got everything ready to go . It won't be long and you will be in band land!!!!!!

Corgi I was only on clear liquids for 3 days after surgery then I was on full liquids the rest of the week. I started on mushy's yesterday and am doing good so far with everything I have tried.I 'm just taking small bites and making sure that everything is very small and mashed good. No problems yet.This was what my dr. told me to do but please everyone follow your Dr's rules !!!

I am only a little over a week post op and I can't even imagine how you are feeling right now. I hope you start doing better really soon. hang in there and let us know how you are doing.

Wow!!! 4 weeks is a long time to be on liquids??? I am a little more than a week post op and I was only told to be on liquids 1 week then go to mushy's ect... Every Dr. is different and you should do exactly what they say. You sure don't want to mess anything up!! Good luck and hang in there.

Hey Memphis Lady.Thanks for thinking of me. I am not going back to work until this Saturday so I hope I will do okay. I am still a good bit sore,but I gotta go back some time. Hope you decide on getting your band soon and that things work out for you. Keep me posted.

I sure can't wait till I'm on to mushys so I can try some good refried beans. I'm on full liquids right now and those beans are calling my name!!!!LOL!!!

Well thanks for your thoughts and prayers. My DH went to foot specialist this AM and found out good news. He has feeling and good blood supply to his toes. They want him back to see Dr. in 2 weeks and they will take out the stiches then. It will still be hard for him to get around but it is really good news that he will heal and be able to walk and have feeling in his toes. Please still keep praying for a quick recovery for us both!!!

I would call them so they won't have time to drag their feet. Being persistant with them will help get the ball rolling!!

thats a really good NSV!!! but if i get to every wear my DH's pants they will make me trip and fall.... they will be way to long!!! LOL!!!

I waited till after I made the decision on having the surgery and after I got my date to tell my inlaws cause I knew they would want to HELP make the decision and it is my descion to make and I made it and I'm glad I did. Then I told them and my Mother in law kinda acted pissed cause she wasn't part of the decision earlier before I desicided on my own. I wanted no one to persway me one way or the other. I did tell my husband /mom/dad/and brother. Who have all been very suportive. Every one that I work with knows it and and have been a great suport. I even had one girl I go to lunch with alot ..Say We can start sharing a meal and that way she would be eating less too!! How great is that... Its definatly up to you who you tell. Just follow your heart and know that this is your descion and you should let no one take that from you. You decide and then think about who to tell.

I think I 'll be good just to go back to work on Saturday. I took a full week off and if this sorness doesn't go away I'll be taken a couple more days off. I stand on my feet all day and I don't think I'm up for that at all yet!!!
