Madeline's mom~ (Mary) came to meet me at work today!!! Well we aren't really neighbors but I figure with in 20 miles of each other is close enough!!She was banded 3 days before me so we started our journeys close together too!!! Madeline is so pretty and sweet and I really was so suprised that her and Mary came to see me. I also found out that our little girls will be going to the same school this next year!!! How cool is that!!! It's a small world !!!!! Just wanted to say that I'm thrilled to have met someone in my area from LBT!!!! I hope we will become good friends and also be good suport for each other!!!!

So glad you got your band and your on the road to recovery. I hope you are feeling good and losing in no time.

Jorjet Once you get to your goal or an idea body weight for your height,you would just go get your band unfilled and you could just maintain your weight. If you started to gain again you could get a fill. This is the beauty of the band!!! Good luck on getting your band date. I hope all goes well for you! This site is full of info and you will learn alot here!!!

Hope your surgery goes well and that your recovery will be quick. congrats on getting your band and keep in touch on how your doing. And remember its not how fast you lose that 95 pounds it's the fact that your band will be there to help you KEEP it off!!! We didn't get over weight over night so just get that band and be patient you will get there!!! Good Luck!!!

Doing my job I stand alot. I took off a full week and was glad I did. That first day back was rough!!!!

Trish this was so cute and it put a smile on my face. My little girl loved it too!!!! LOL!!!

Becki thank you for taking time out of your own buisy life to post and encourage others. I being a little over 2 weeks banded really appreciate you being so positive about your band. You have done so well with your band and I just want to say congratulations and I hope with my band I can follow in your foot steps!!!!

Well I'm on to my 3rd week being a bandster and I'm doing great!!! I'm down 11 pounds and I'm able to eat lots of different things right now which is great that nothing I've tried has bothered me yet. Also I was very excited that Tuesday I got back results from my cholesterol screening and in November it was 257 and it is now down to 177 Whoohoo I would consider this a definate NSV and I'm so glad that it is down in a normal range and my Dr. said I should be able to completly get off of the cholesterol meds soon. now if I can get that blood presure down so I can quit the blood presure meds I will be in really good shape and on my way to a smaller and healthier me. 2 and 1/2 weeks left till I get my 1st fill!!!

Finally coming back to post and tell where my port is and it is on my left side about 6 or 7 inches out to the side of my belly button but higher than my belly button by just a bit! I like the fact that you can't see it and it is not uncomfortable and doesn't rub at my waist!

Glad your doing well and you are doing wonderful with that weight lose! WHOOOHOOO!!!!

I like doing floral arrangments... but don't get much time to do them! Trish i love the ceramics you have done and I think that would be a good hobby to have.
