Clothes purging Pre op...Save me from myself!

Has anyone had to buy smaller shoes?? I imagine your feet get a little smaller and your shoe size shrinks. I am not look ing forward to buying new shoes. When you are heavy, at least you can still buy cute shoes...and I bought quite a few!

Clothes purging Pre op...Save me from myself!

I am pre op and have bought 3 dresses and 4 sweaters at Anthropologie for after the surgery!!!! I just needed to keep enthused while I am waiting out the 6 months. As far as the old stuff in the closet..............It is still there until after the surgery. It will be so exciting to give all of those big clothes to the Goodwill and slip into the new Anthropologie style. I can't wait to buy clothes that I like instead of what fits!

    Calling All Sixties!

To Loseitsoon I suffered with hives for over a year. Finally my internist told me to stop the tramadol that I was taking for my arthritic hip. By any chance do you take this supposediy benign drug? It is an opiad with bad side effects. Just turned 60 in June but way back in January 2013 I decided to make this the year of me. I have gone through all of the pre-surgery testing, met with the surgeon, now awaiting the 6 month visit in November to schedule my surgery. Long arduous road, but well worth the journey. The best thing I did was find out I had severe sleep apnea. I love the C-Pap machine and feel 100% better!!
  4. Aspartame landed me in the hospital with atrial fibrillation. I began drinking Crystal Light to help ween myself off diet soda. Within two weeks of starting to drink Crystal Light I began having panic attacks and a rapid heart rate. I thought I was having a heart attack so I went to the emergency room. $2300.00 later I figured out that it was the Crystal Light. As soon as I discontinued the aspartame the problems ceased. Seriously dangerous stuff!

    gall bladder issues?

It sounds like gall stones. The pain in your upper back is the clue. I lost a lot of weight 8 years ago and developed gall stones and had to have my gallbladder removed. It was as easy as having a tooth pulled. Don't stress, just make sure there aren't stones in the ducts. Good luck!!
