I haven't told anyone except my HR rep and my direct supervisor. My supervisor had RNY last year and has lost over 100 pounds.

Same here... My BMI is over 50 (5'2 and 285).

Welcome Kay! This is a friendly bunch of people and I don't think we're being super exclusive. Your surgery is only 3 days shy of December. I'm sure all of your questions will be answered at your pre-op appointment. Take a note pad with all of your questions just in case.

Yeah, I think every doctor has a different recommendation as to when and how when it come to vitamins. Kaiser gave us a chart during our Options classes as to what we should take. We also got a code for a discount at a couple of the popular bariatric sites. PM if you're interested.

So what is everybody who has surgery scheduled in early December doing to prepare right now? Just curious... I just ordered several different Protein samples and Vitamins. Last weekend I got a front hook sports bra from Ross. I've read hear that a wire might be uncomfortable near the incision. This weekend I plan to clean the house from top to bottom and then arrange for a car service to take me to and from the hospital. I want to cover all my bases early or I'll start to stress out.

I got super nervous, mad and upset yesterday when I tried to come on here. Glad that it's back up but WHO is the lady in MY profile picture?!?!?!? LOL
