I'm only a month or so out but I am looking for size 16 pants. .. jeans/dress pants (work) shirts in still unsure. I'm thinking 1x or 2. I've got 3 new pair of size 18 pants (dress) with tags that have never been worn. I've been to good will and thrift stores searching like crazy

Hi. I was sleeved on 12/11 and seems to have slowed down my weight loss. I'm freaking out because I feel like I had surgery to only lose 40 lbs. (in almost 3 months) Most people have past me by on the weight loss and I keep thinking that I won't lose anymore? Honestly. .. did anyone else experience this and If so what jump started your weight loss again if any? #confused #scared

Yes... I did... Right at 4 weeks. I think mine was dumping. Oh my goodness it was the worst thing ever. I thought I was going to die. Sweats, holding the trash can while I was on toilet..... It the worse. It lasted about 30 minutes even though it felt like an hour

The day before is really important. .Liquids only. ... but i had a great meal 2 days before surgery and they said nothing and I told the truth. I splurged/cheated whatever you want to call it! Don't beat yourself up. . Look at the weigh you've lost. You've done awesome. .. Just remember the day before no cheating

I think you will be fine. I actually thought the same. They didn't weigh me before surgery

Hello and Merry Christmas to all my sleevers and families! I wanted to give my story and update on my sleeve from the 11th. All went well with surgery. I woke up confused of course and in a little pain. . Nothing to fuss about... more sore than anything. Day 1 was weird. .I just had calls and text messages out of the Yin yang and I was loopy but I walled the track of the hospital at least 3 times. .. one time I felt like I over did it because the soreness went to pain. They took such good care of me and my boyfriend was all over it. .He made sure I had everything I needed including a smile. I did not have any gas pain whatsoever (praise God) I had no nausea or vomiting (praise God) and still haven't had either. Before I was discharged they wanted me to get down a certain about of fluids and once he said. .Well if you can get this down you go home. .I tried my hardest. .1 oz every 15 minutes. I took down more than I expected. I was sent home and oh boy. .......... The pain kicked my arse. .Now don't get me wrong. .. it wasn't bad but around a 6...I was on pain meds for at least 3 days and done. I tried to walk as much as I could. Sleeping is uncomfortable because I'm a tummy sleeper but it's getting better. I'm getting in my fluids but slacking on my protein (bad girl) I'm so ready for food is crazy. You don't realize how much you want food until you see big Mac commercials on television. .Oh my lanta is horrible. I haven't cried over my decision once but silly commercials make me tear up quick lol silly me. Constipation is a beast. .Get ready. .But miralax and a magnesium pill and proboitics help alot. I want food. I am 2 weeks post op and puree doesn't start until jan 2nd but I did sneak some instant mashed.. just some off the tip of a fork and that was my Christmas gift. .. The absolute best. I have lost 20 lbs so far and feel a little different. I can see a difference in my face and my ring is very loose! Just wanted to share a little since I haven't updated since surgery. I tried to type all of this on my lap top but the website is just eew..so please excuse any typos from ac! Hello sleeve sister. I was sleeved the same day and yes. the nausea meds make you sleepy so I asked for non drowsy. I'm still a little weak and plan on getting up and out today if I can. The big incision hurts the most. Make sure you are getting in your fluids.

Just wanted to update you guys. I am 2 days post op and feeling pretty good. A little sore. . Feels like I did 100 sit ups. Not to bad. . I'm getting down as many liquids as I can. . All and all.. everything is good. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement!

I had surgery at 1050 yesterday and I'm feeling pretty okay today!

I can't believe how fast this day came. My nerves. .my head. .This liquid diet...ughhh. Anxiety is thru the roof right now. Tomorrow...Tomorrow. .I love you tomorrow!

I've waited. . Cried. . Fussed. . Second guessed and the time is here. I have surgery on Wednesday and my nerves are all over the place. I'm excited but nervous. I just keep watching episodes of Scandal to keep my mind off of it lol! I feel different already and can't wait for this transformation. This website has been a true blessing to me. For all the sleevers on their way. .Keep pushing and for the post op patients. .. thanks for your stories. .. honesty. .. and all for the support. Please keep me in prayer!

You are not alone in this. Trust and believe! You have all of us here..strangers or not and the outcome will hopefully make you forget all of the hurdles before surgery. I'm sorry to hear of your trials before surgery but again you are not alone. You are in my prayers. My surgery is 10 days away and the anxiety is like wow right now but I continue to pray on this thing and I know he won't leave me.
