Once I was approved I was able to pick a surgery date! Two weeks prior to that I had to get my lab work, ekg, etc.... Congrats!

I had 9 months! It will go buy before you know it and actually help you a lot.

I try to keep in the 1,000-1,200 range. I use the App MyfitnessPal and it helps me keep track of everything, you should check it out if you haven't! It also told me how many calories someone with my weight should be eating but I had to lower it because I can't eat that much in one sitting and my snacks aren't high in calorie! Good luck ????

I had GERD before the surgery, I had the surgery about two years ago and hardly have issues with it since.

I'm 23 and I was just sleeved on July 30th. I'm doing pretty well except for the aches and pains that were expected to come along with it!

Similar to the post above. I have a recipe that i use when I need my coffee kick and want to get my Protein in as well. 2 scoops of chocolate whey protein 1 cup of skim milk 1 cup of Water 5 ice cubes And a packet of instant coffee It's about 50 grams of protein maybe a couple grams more. And it's less than 300 calories. I've been using the unjury powder and I find two scoops of the chocolate makes it really sweet. So what I've done instead is one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of unflavored.

Well I was sleeved a little over a month ago and all has been going great until today I'm receiving a little pain after I just ate. Its almost like a burning feeling and then it starts to ache. I'm still on soft foods until sept. 30th. It's also my time of the month which tends to give me miserable stomach aches but this is kind of new. Has anybody else experienced this or know what it could be? I do not have any other pain or a fever, no shortness of breath so I don't think it's a leak. But Is it possible to rip your suture line and cause a leak from eating? I've been so strict with my diet so I don't see how I could have but I'm just curious if any of you know if that's happened.

I've been trying to be more aware of my chewing. It's funny how they drill it and drill it into your head but still sometimes you mindlessly do not do it. The pain has actually gone down some so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Thank you both for your input!

How many of you have suffered from this? And how long did it last for you? I'm dealing with it now and it's driving me mental. I'm trying to stay positive, I just thought maybe hearing other people's stories may help!

It almost tricks you into thinking you're gonna be stuck at this weight forever! Haha! But thank you guys I'm happy to hear that at some point the scale will move for me again!

I just added some PB2 to my shake for the first time and i am wishing I did it sooner! Not only did I get an extra 5g of protein it makes it tastes so much better! I highly recommend it for any of you peanut butter lovers out there!

I went to the required pre-op meetings but I haven't gone to any post op! It's tough with my work schedule. That's awesome! Does she have a date?

I have reflux and my surgeon still let me have the sleeve. He has me taking omeprazole twice a day and is hopeful that once the weight is off my reflux won't be an issue anymore.

I've found it in my local grocery stores...I heard they have it at Walmart as well but I haven't checked

Do you know how long the stall lasts or is it different for everyone at 3 weeks?

Yea I'm only 3 weeks (not even) post op and I'm at a stall and then I stepped on the scale it said i gained two lbs. it has always been common for me to go up a couple lbs during my period though so I'm hoping this is just what it is. Trying not to get discouraged ????

I don't know how to fix the header but I obviously meant weight gain!!
